Overall - this isn't so much C&C as general impressions.  This 
is coming along nicely.

Character Thoughts:

Ryo S. - the original tragic hero.  If this guy were any more 
unlucky, he'd be in Kimagure Orange Road.  The last scene was
especially cruel.

Oh, just wait till act four...

Miyabi - who I'm surprised they didn't name Akane, Jr.  Very 
nice, sorta the heart of this group.

erh?  personally, I don't think Miyabi's gotten enough screen time,
compared to the others.

Ishido:  Likeable, nice, shy, honest - how'd he end up here?
Maybe if Muhoshin stops kicking him in the head, we might actually
get some interesting things happening.

well Muhoshin wouldn't be kicking him in the head so much if he wasn't
trying to blow 'Gosling's' cover ^_^

and this Muhoshin never met Ishido yet either, adding to the aggravation.

Childra:  *Really* nice development here, and I've decided to like 
her.  She's sorta likeable in spite of yourself - like Ryo M.
in TPOH/TWTA (note - not *this* Ryo M.  No.  Uh-uh.)

Childra's definitely blossomed in this series quite a bit.

Ratiko - Terminally stupid, annoying.  At least you've made him
comic relief.  I'd have thought his reaction to Nabiki would be
more terminal.  The scene with Ukyou fending him off was very icky.
Bravo.

*piku* but... he's supposed to be one of the villians.  O.o?

Ryo M. - Psycho.  Presumably he's off to our prologue...

Well yes, but that's much later.  He's _that_ despicable so far?  He's
slated to be come a real bastard, yeah, but not quite yet.  Hm, wow, maybe
I did go over the top a bit, although I tried to make him a bit humorous
in his initial entry to CS.  After all, he hasn't killed anyone yet...

Ranma, Akane - they better resolve something soon, or I'll be upset.

No!

Ukyou - *sigh*...is this gonna turn into another Ukyou/Ryouga
story?  It's things like this that mean we Akari fans have an 
uphill battle...nice depression, too <wink>.  It's interesting to
see a poor Ukyou, as opposed to the successful one of so many other
fanfics...

No!

No resolution!  That be our rallying cry!  We'll leave the Nerima regulars
utterly totally dazed and confused and with absolutely no resolution!

Nabiki - *very* well written.  I think she'll find herself in over
her head soon, though...and she took the facts of Rat's future a
lot better than I thought she would...

oops, I guess we'd better write more scenes for her then o.o;;;

Overall - next?  BTW, does this series have to end with everything
going status quo?  Or can these future characters have different 
destinies than their original fics?

as far as I've heard, this is the climax of Ryo Saotome's adventures, and
in a way Converging Series can be seen as the sequel to 'Descents and
Inversions'.  It obviously drastically affects Ranma2096 and 'The Way
Things Are', although since I joined the project late and had plans for
'The Pursuit of Happiness', it affects that fic the least, although there
will be something of a link between TPOH and R2096.
