This derives from the fact that it minimizes descriptions, which I stink
at.
I tend to prefer script format for comedy and prose format for more
dramatic materials (Though this is not a universal law :)).
Script format also works best when you're dealing with "stock" sets and
characters, where you can assume the reader already knows what everything
looks like.
