Hi, everyone. Since I'm about to leave for home for the Hollidays,
I figured I'd send my second draft now. I'm not sure if I'll be able to
post
things from my sister's computer, so I may not be doing much more than
replies until after break.
As to the Prose vs. Script debate, I prefer prose myself, but for the
purposes of this fanfic, Script style works best for me, since I'm
writing it
episodically, as if it was an actual anime. I feel this is the best way
for
this story to proceed.
Anyways, I accept any and all C&C you give me, so critique away!
Oh, and in case I forget, Happy Hollidays!

<The scene opens. We are in a medium sized room, with a computer on the
one desk. Four young women enter the room. All four look quite
exhausted.>
Kyone: Finally! I thought we were never going to take down that
thing! Even with the Machin, that creature was tough! Well, at least I
can get some sleep now.
Fuu: Aren't you forgetting something?
<Kyone begins to fidget.>
Kyone: Eto....There's nothing I need to do...Nee, Hikaru? Umi?
<The grin on Umi's face was evil enough to scare a demon.>
Umi: <Calmly> Of course not. <Angrily> EXCEPT FOR THE NEXT PART OF
YOUR FIC!
Kyone: But I thought that you don't want me to right that fic?
Hikaru: It's not that we don't want the fic...
Fuu: It's just that you won't be able to write a fic with us as major
characters until you finish the Ranma one.
Kyone: But I'm so tired! Can't this wait `till tomorrow?
Umi: Nope. You write the fic now, or else...
Kyone: Or else what?
<Umi, Fuu and Hikaru all surround Kyone.>
Umi: Or else we'll beat the tar out of you again!
Kyone: All right! All Right! I'll write it! Just calm down!
Umi: <Angry> Are you saying I'm not calm!?! SHI NE!!!
<Again, as the scene fades, we hear toe curling screams, along with the
occasional snap of a bone or two.>

<The scene opens. Zagato stands in his mirror room, watching the Magic
Knights' flight on the mirror. As he watches, they descend into a huge
forest, and the image on the mirror loses focus. A smirk appears on his
face.>
<The scene shifts to Zagato's court. Zagato stands facing the center of
the waterfalls, with Inova slightly behind and to the left of him.>
Inova: Mascot. There is a Revolt in St. Rayne. Take care of it.
Caludina. A rebellion is beginning in the east. Investigate it.
Alcione-
Alcione: Zagato-sama!
<The waterfall parts in front of Alcione. She is kneeling to Zagato.>
Alcione: Please! Let me take care of the Magic Knights!
<Inova is about to speak when Zagato waves him off. A look of surprise
appears on Inova's face.>
Zagato: There is no need.
Alcione: But Zagato-sama--!
Zagato: They have entered the Forest of Silence. Without magic to
protect them, the multitude of monsters there will defeat them.
Alcione: Zagato-sama! Please!
<Zagato turns and leaves the court, and Inova continues.>
Inova: Alcione. Go south to keep watch. Rafala. Strengthen the
guards to the north. That is all.
<As the scene fades, we cannot help but notice the anger emanating from
Alcione.>

<The scene changes to the Magic Knights as they scramble off of the
griffin's back. Ranma-chan looks entirely too cheerful, and Akane and
Ukyou both look angry, not yet over their fight. They are in a clearing
in the forest. To all but one side, the forest extends as far as they
can see. On the one side without forest is a stone wall. Ranma turns
to the griffin. Unnoticed by them, a monster watches them.>
Ranma-chan: Is this where Pressia lives, birdy?
<The griffin squawks and nods its head.>
Ranma-chan: It's such a cute birdy, isn't it? Akane, Ukyou, don't you
think so?
<Sweat drops form on Akane's and Ukyou's head.>
Akane: Whatever you say Ranma . . . .
Ukyou: I guess, Ranma.
<Akane and Ukyou turn towards each other.>
Akane <Whispering to Ukyou>: We've got to do something about Ranma!
He's not acting right at all!.
Ukyou <Whispering back>: I know! How `bout we call a . . . truce . . .
until we get Ranma back to normal.
Akane <Still whispering>: . . . . Agreed.
<They both shake hands, then turn away from each other. They both look
like they are having trouble believing what they did. Ranma-chan
watches them curiously, without a clue as to what just happened.>
Ranma-chan <Curiously>: What's going on? What are you talking about!
Akane: Nothing! Absolutely nothing! Nee, Ukyou?
Ukyou: Nee! It's nothing that concerns you, Ranma.
Ranma-chan: All right.
Akane: So anyway, how do we get in.
Ukyou: The wall's quite high, so I don't think we can just leap over
it.
Akane: I wish we had Ryouga. He could bust it down with ease with that
Bakusai Ten Ketsu technique.
Ukyou: Yeah. I guess we could get Ranma to ki-blast it.
<As Ukyou and Akane are discussing options, Ranma walks up to the wall
and knocks on it politely.>
[Rap! Rap!]
<Ranma leans against the wall, and it disappears. She falls forward.>
Ranma-chan: WAHH!
[Thump!]
<Akane and Ukyou turn to see Ranma, who's now lying within the doorway.>
Ukyou: How'd you do that? Did you ki-blast the wall?
Ranma-chan: Ki-blast? No, of course not! I knocked, just like anyone
should do before entering.
<Again, sweat drops form on Ukyou's and Akane's respective heads.>
Akane: Well, I guess we can enter now.
<Akane, Ukyou, and Ranma all enter the door in the wall. Between the
wall and the building is a neat, but not exceptionally pretty
courtyard. They cross the courtyard and come to an actual wooden door.
The three knights enter. Meanwhile, the monster that was spying on them
passes through the hole in the wall.
The second door they pass through leads into the building itself, a
corridor actually. The corridor they are in, however, is long and dark,
with only a light way down at the other end. As they proceed down the
hall, Ranma grabs Ukyou's arm. Akane, seeing this starts to fume, while
a smirk forms on Ukyou's face.>
Akane: RANMA! WHY ARE YOU GRABBING UKYOU!
Ranma-chan <Teary eyed>: Why are you angry, Akane! I was just scared
of the dark, that's all.
<Akane and Ukyou both face fault.>
Ranma-chan: Is this better?
<Ranma grabs onto Akane's arm while still holding Ukyou's.>
Akane: I guess, Ranma.
<Akane and Ukyou turn their heads and glare at each other once Ranma
continues their trek cautiously forward. About a half minute later,
they reach the light. It is coming from the doorway into what looks
like a study or office room. The three knights enter the room.>
Akane: What the . . . .
<In the center of the room, there is a desk, with an egg shaped chair,
facing away from them. From the chair, papers are being throw in all
directions. Ranma lets go of Akane's and Ukyou's arms, and walks
towards the chair. Akane and Ukyou fall in behind her.>
Ranma: Pressia-san? Is that you?
<The chair starts to spin. On the turning chair, we see what looks like
an overly fat rabbit with a red jewel, like the ones on the Magic
Knights' wrist bands, on its forehead between its eyes. The chair
stops, facing them. The knights all take a step backwards.>
Akane: Could that be . . . Pressia!?!?
<The rabbit appears to be shaking its head, as if saying no.>
Rabbit: Pu! Pu!
Ukyou: Then what is that thing?
Ranma-chan: I don't know, but it sure is cute!
<Ukyou and Akane face fault, again.>
Akane <Shouting at Ranma>: Now is not the time to be contemplating cute
creatures. We got to find Pressia and Mokona!.
<Ranma get teary eyed again, but before she can say anything, a cage
falls on top of them. A woman dressed in an orange-brown and white
clothing, steps into the room.>
Woman <Maniacally>: I've got you now, Mokona. Now what shall I do with
you?
<A fantasy starts up in the woman's mind.>
Woman: Shall I pull your ears to see how far they'll stretch?
<An SD image of the woman, with one foot on Mokona's head, and both of
her hands pulling its ears way back. The image fades away.>
Woman: Or shall I tie you up and hang you upside down within the
kitchen?
<An SD image of the woman and Mokona appears. Mokona is tied and
hanging upside down, while the woman, dressed like an Indian, dances
around Mokona with a spear in her hand.>
SD Woman: OH!WO!WO!WO!
<The image fades away as she turns to look at her catch. She turns to
see the Magic Knights, all with sweat drops in their heads.>
Woman: Eto . . . who are you? Oh well, it doesn't matter. I didn't
know pranksters came with this building. But being children is no
excuse. Now how should I punish you . . . .
<Behind the Woman Mokona is still making a mess. Actually the mess is
starting to form in piles that are bigger than Mokona. Unfortunately
all concerned, the Woman fails to notice this, instead fantasizing about
what to do to these 'pranksters'.>
Woman: Shall I stretch open your mouth to see how wide I can get it?
<An SD image of the woman and Akane appear. Akane is tied to a chair as
the Woman stretches the sides of Akane's mouth with her hands. The
image fades.>
Akane <Angry>: HEY!
Woman <Ignoring Akane>: Or shall I boil you three alive?
<An SD image of the woman and the three Magic Knights appear. The Magic
Knights are all slumped in a big pot with a campfire underneath it. The
woman is back in her Indian costume, circling them with that spear in
her hand.>
SD Woman: OH!WO!WO!WO!
<The image fades again. Akane and Ukyou are both glaring at the woman
while Ranma looks upset. We notice that as the Woman has been talking
to them, Mokona has made the mess much bigger. Mokona stops, walks to
the bars of the cage and pushes itself through. It then hops up to
Ranma's arms. Ranma unconsciously hugs it to her.>
Akane <Angry>: It's not like that! All we did was knock on the wall
and entered. If this was Nerima, you'd just challenge us to a fight!
Woman: What did you say?
Akane: I SAID if this was Nerima-
Woman: No! Before that!
Akane <Curiously>: I said all we did was knock on that wall and that it
opened.
Woman <In her mind>: Masaka! They're just children! But then, why is
Mokona
so happy. <Out loud> Are you the Magic Knights?
Ranma-chan: Yes. I'm Saotome Ranma.
Ukyou: I'm Kuonji Ukyou.
Akane: I'm Tendo Akane. Now, why the HELL do you have us in a cage!
And who are you?
Woman: I'm sorry about that. I was trying to catch Mokona, but you got
caught instead. I'm the Master Creator Pressia. Wait one second, and
I'll have you out of there.
<Just then, the monster that was watching the Magic Knights when they
landed bust into the room. It is about ten feet tall, brown, and has
spikes all over its body. Its mouth composes two thirds of its head,
and has very nasty look of teeth. The monster roars, and takes a swipe
at Pressia. Pressia leaps back, just in time.>
Ranma-chan: Pressia-san! Let us out! I wanna help!
<The monster takes another swipe at Pressia, and manages to slash a
bookshelf in half. However, Pressia leaped strait up before its attack
could hurt her. She is hanging off of a chain, several feet off the
ground.>
Ranma-chan: Sugoi!
<Akane and Ukyou face fault again. Meanwhile, Pressia tugs the chain,
causing the cage around them to rise. The monster turns at the sudden
noise, and glares at them. Ranma steps forward, while keeping herself
calm and cool. She prepares to do her magical attack, as the monster
faces the three girls.>
Ranma-chan: BURNING HIRYOUSHOTENHA!
<Nothing happens. Ranma looks quite worried as she tries again. Not
even a spark forms. All three knights begin to back up, to get away
from the monster. The monster prepares to attack them, when suddenly it
collapses to the ground, its head falling from its neck. Pressia lands
in front of the monster.>
Pressia: Didn't Cleff-sama tell you? Neither magic nor ki attacks work
in the Forest of Silence.
Ranma-chan <Sadly>: Cleff-sama didn't get much time to tell us
anything. We were attacked by one of Zagato's minions, and had to flee.
Pressia: So that's why he gave me Mokona. He KNEW this was going to
happen. Anyway, would you three please follow me?
Ukyou: Where are we going?
Pressia: To the Armory. You will need some better weapons for fighting
monsters here in the forest.
<As they leave the room, the decapitated monster's eyes begin to glow
red.>

<The three knights, Pressia and Mokona all enter the armory. Within the
room, there are all types of swords, battle axes, and other such
weapons. There is also a cannon in the center of the room. Pressia
walks over to the cannon, and leans on it.>
Pressia: Now, each of you, pick your weapon.
Akane <cheerfully>: Free weapons! Sugoi!
<An almost maniacal grin appears on both Akane's and Ukyou's face as
they both fantasize about using new weapons to trash Shampoo once and
for all.>
Pressia: Who said they are for free?
<All three girls face fault again. Ranma walks over to Pressia, and
searches her fuku. She finds a candy bar that, as Ranma-kun, he had
been saving as a snack at the Tokyo Tower. That teary eyed look appears
in her eyes again. She offers the candy bar to Pressia.>
Ranma-chan <eyes downcast>: Here Pressia. This is all I have. I don't
have any money on me right now.
<Akane's and Ukyou's jaws DROP to the ground. They have NEVER seen
Ranma give away food before. Pressia looks startled as well, just not
as startled as the two girls. A kind look appears on her face.>
Pressia <gently>: That's all right, Ranma-chan. I'll loan you the
weapons. What I need to do, however, is make weapons specifically for
you girls.
<The girls smile at this, glad that they'll get the weapons.>
Pressia: What I need for you to do, however, is to get the materials.
<The girls get "blown away" as an SD image of the cannon fires.>
Pressia: You need to go to the Magical Spring Eterna to collect the
Legendary Mineral Escudo.
Akane: But we don't know where this spring is! Do you know?
Pressia: I have no idea! <The girls face fault.> But Mokona does,
don't you?
<Mokona frantically nods its head.>
Mokona: Pu! Pu!
Pressia: Mokona also has everything you need for your journey. Now,
let's pi-
<Just then, the monster enters the door, with another one of its
patented roars. (For permission to use, please contact your local
Monsters ROAR!, Inc. shop. They will give you rights to use it for only
$1000!) Pressia turns the cannon towards the monster.>
Pressia: Get ready!
<Pressia fires the cannon, blowing the monster out the doors. She then
runs toward the door, shuts it, and bars it closed.>
Pressia: Hurry up! Pick your weapons! The door won't hold for long!
Akane: There are so many weapons!
Ukyou: How can we pick just one?
Pressia: Don't you know how? Just close your eyes and concentrate!
The weapon most suited for you will come to you!.
<Akane and Ukyou stare at Pressia strangely, but do as their told. Of
course, Ranma-chan does so as well. Three weapons start to glow. The
first is a katana, with an ornate red and gold handle. It glows red and
flies to Ranma. The second is a huge war hammer, with blue and white
stripes on it's handle. It glows blue and flies to Akane. The last is
a green bandoleer, filled with shurinkans. It glows green and flies to
Ukyou. Each of them grab hold of their new weapons. Ukyou takes off
her bandoleer of spatulas and replaces it with her new one. She draws a
few, preparing for the monster. Akane and Ranma prepare themselves as
well. Just then, the monster bust through the door.>
Ukyou: I'll take care of it!
<Ukyou throws one of her shurinkans at the monster. It flies, and slams
right into the head of the monster. The monster manages to push it out
of his head without even touching it. Needless to say, Ukyou looks
quite surprised at this.>
Ranma-chan: Akane! Lets go!
Akane: All right!
<The two knights both charge at the monster. Akane leaps up and slams
her war hammer down into its head, crushing it, while Ranma slices it in
two at the waist. The monster falls into the ground.>
Ranma-chan: Yatta! We did it!
Akane: That wasn't hard at all!
<Unfortunately, the monster slowly begins to pull itself back together,
just like the T1000 from Terminator 2.>
SD Akane: HEY! You up there! Yeah, you, Kyone-chan!
SD Kyone <from her computer>: What?
SD Akane: This is not some American movie, this is supposed to be Magic
Knight Rayearth!
SD Kyone: I know!
SD Akane: Then why is the monster doing that!
SD Kyone: I'm just following the series! The monster really DOES do
this!
SD Akane: Oh. Never mind.
<Anyway, back in the story, the monster is pulling itself together.>
Ukyou: It's like the monster's made of mud!
SD Akane: I thought the T1000 was made of liquid metal!
SD Kyone: GET OFF THE T2 THING! FORGET I MENTIONED IT!
SD Akane: All right, All right! You don't have to blow a fuse!
SD Kyone: ARGH!!!
Ranma-chan: What did you say?
Ukyou: I said, it's acting just like mud. You know, how mud can easily
be reshaped.
Ranma-chan: That's it! I know what to do now! Pressia! Is there a
pool here?
Pressia: Eh? Yes, its out in the courtyard. Why?
Ranma-chan: Don't mind that right now. Just take us there!
Pressia: Okay . . . though I don't see how this'll help us!
Ranma-chan <confidently>: Trust me!
<Ukyou and Akane shudder as the famous last words are uttered, knowing
the potential for doom that they bring. Even so, they all follow
Pressia out of the room. Unlike the rest, instead of running, Mokona
follows by flapping its ears and flying. As they run, the enter a
dining room. The table has a beautiful white table cloth.>
Ranma-chan: Can I use this, Pressia?
Pressia: Sure, I guess. I don't see how it could be useful, though.
<Ranma grabs the cloth and they continue running. By now, the monster
is starting to gain on them. Finally they run out into the courtyard.
Ranma hides next to the door as the rest run out to the pool.>
Ranma-chan: Distract the monster for me, please!
Akane: All right! I wish you'd tell us your plan, though.
Ranma-chan: No time! It's almost here!
<As soon as Ranma says that, the monster charges out of the building.
Ukyou starts throwing shurinkan at it, insuring that it comes toward
them. When it gets close to them, Ranma charges towards the monster.>
Ranma-chan: Get out of the way!
Akane: We can take him!
Ranma-chan: Just do it!
<Ukyou, Akane and Pressia jump out of the way, as Ranma throws the table
cloth over the monster's head, blinding it. Ranma then leaps up and
slashes it. The monster falls forward into the pool, and dissolves
away, just like mud in water.>
Pressia: I see. When you found out it was made like mud, you decided
to push it into water to destroy it!
Ukyou: That's Ranma for you! Always able to find the weakness in any
opponent.
Ranma-chan <blushing>: It was nothing. I just used what you told me,
Ukyou.
Ukyou: You deserve all the credit, Ranma.
<Ranma blushes even harder when Ukyou says this.>
Pressia: I see now why you three were chosen. Even though you all
don't get along . . . (SD 1 ton weights fall on SD Akane and SD Ukyou's
head while SD Ranma smiles at all this) . . . and both of you get quite
jealous . . . . (SD 10 ton weights fall on their heads) . . . when you
need to, you work well together, and get the job done. I know you'll
succeed.
Ranma-chan: Thank you for everything, Pressia-san. We need to get
going however!
Mokona <nodding its head>: Pu! Pu! <It starts to bounce off into the
woods.>
Ranma-chan, Ukyou and Akane: Jya matta ne, Pressia-san!
Ranma-chan: We'll bring back the Esqudo!
Pressia: I have every bit confidence in you three! Ja na!
<As they walk into the forest, following Mokona, Ukyou whispers to
Akane.>
Ukyou: We need to find Ranma some hot water to return him to normal!
Akane: Un! I'm sure we will soon.
<The scene fades away as Pressia watches Ranma-chan disappear into the
forest.>
