`Small, twisted' ?? !!!

This is Yggdrasil, which is always described in impressive terms. If I
remember correctly, Urd's well was under its roots. Makes it pretty big.

I've also heard it described as small. Depends on the version of the
myth. I wanted a bit of contrast.

Urd glared, but said nothing.

Why is Urd glaring?
I don't see why Belldandy's statement here is annoying her.
Presumably the `I've got to - ` has something to do with it, but you don't
explain it.

Urd thinks Skuld and Kenji are going off to have sex. She's annoyed
because she thinks Bell is condoning it. Of course, she's wrong... :-)

Tsk.
Whatever hapenned to the canon `Belldandy can't lie'?
She isn't even being indirect here.

Maybe `I think he's a very nice god' would be better, this way she isn't
actually telling a lie..

Oh, right. Ummm...actually, that's a good point. Thanks.

SMALL!? Odin??
No way... read the descriptions of him in the myths.
You make him sound like a moonlighting accountant !!

I have. Odin has often been described as a small old man with one eye.
So he is here. As I said, different versions, different accounts...

Indeed, as leader of the Norse pantheon, he would have been obliged to
show himself prominenly and often.

And when he does, he appears in the big, bold form you described. Hence,
Bell's surprise in seeing him as he "really" is.

Umm.
Again. I think ooc for Odin. Humility, a Norse trait..!!?

Well, why not? :-)

Is there a reason for Loki being naked? Or was he just feeling warm?
I don't object to it per se, but at this point it just seems a gratuitous
(and unused) point.

Loki's uncaring nudity is a contrast to the sex scene we just had. It
was intentional in that it was very *un*erotic.

And, since they are in Loki's prison, why isn't he still bound?
There's a contradiction here.
If he's still bound, why do the bar staff recognise him?
And if he isn't, why are they here?

Has Loki been freed, and using his old prison as a dungeon?
Again, you should clarify things.

AAAAAAIIIGH! I'm only using a little Norse myth!! Just enough to give it
flavor! If I tried to be exact, I'd drive myself nuts. God knows AMG
screws it up all the time.

I just can't buy this one.
Why would Urd do such pointless cruelty?
It dosn't match with anything we know about her from the manga or mythology,
and you give no reasons for how/why she's changed.

She's careless, self-centred and hardly subtle, but the sort of pointless
cruelty you have her doing, the godly equivalent of pulling the wings off
flies, dosn't fit her at all.

We know very little of the pre-Earth exile Urd. She seemed pretty OTT in
the beginning, but softened up. This was a rather extreme example. It
shows that Earth has influenced all 3 goddesses, whether they know it or
not. And I think her time on Earth made her more caring, more sensitive to
humans. This is obvious as the manga goes along. I dunno if I want to
make it more obvious.

Thak you for your comments. I appreciated them a lot. I was worried that,
being a non-Ranma fic, it would fall into the abyss.
