Ok here is my first attempt at a fanfic, so don't be to harsh.
First a few things about the fanfic its one of those author writes
himself into the fic, I know there is about a million of those around
today but hey one more couldn't hurt.
This BGC universe will not probably be exactly like the one in the
anime, there will be some minor or major changes as it progresses.
For example some common technology will be different from our dimension.
Some things will be more developed here than in BGC.
I will explain some of my opinions/theories about BGC during the story
to update you on why or how something works. Ok I've read a few BGC
self-insert fics, some of them suck some of them are awesome. Bubble Gum
Zone
by Bert Van Vliet is one of the best BGC fics I have ever read.
You might see some influence of another fic here, I hope the author
realizes that
I am not trying to steal their story I hope I keep that out but some of the
fics are
just so cool that their influence is "hardwired" and I might be
subconsciously
putting something very much like their idea in here.
The character will not be me ('cause I want the poor guy to have a chance
at survival)
But as mostly, as always it will be a altered and more perfected me.
I am not using my name for the character, 'cause I wanna use what I would
guess is
the English version of my name. Which is either Steven or Stan, I'll use
Stan.
One more problem that will be solved the usual cheesy way is Stan will gain
the
ability to communicate in Japanese by getting to MegaTokyo.

Anywayz� Enough with the excuses lets go�
BEGIN part 1 - It all begins
A nice warm June night in Toronto, Stan was walking home enjoying the cool
night
air, he was wearing a backpack full of alternative CD's 2 jet sims and
some airplane specs.
He was extremely happy he and his friend just found full specs for the
Lockheed YF-22A
Lightning II. He had a full shiny brand new R-CD [recordable CD]with all
the info on the F-22,
Actual DXF models made by Lockheed, and all the info that was actually
required to
build one for one self, the only thing that really prevented him for making
an F-22 for
himself is a shortage of a factory and a few billion dollars. When he got
home he was planning on
finishing that program he was writing. Finally since he found a tool to
convert the non-portable
of linux C++ calls to Win32.
School was over, life was just perfect. At the current moment he was
concentrating
on the lyrics from the latest Offspring album, paying little attention to
the world around him.
He was walking along the street paying little attention that he was about
to cross an intersection
on a red light. Walking along with his discman being on full volume he did
not hear the fuel
truck sound its horn, until it was to almost to late. He looked left and
saw a giant truck
going right for him. Normally a person would probably be to scared to move,
but for some
reason his brain decided now was the time to divert 100% of its resources
to the self-preservation
system, and so it commanded him to jump to right. He rolled on missing the
truck by millimeters,
unfortunately since the truck was slowing down a car right behind the truck
was not able to slow
down in time and hit the truck's back at high speed, it broke the back of
the truck and fuel
began coming out right at the cars headlight which was damaged, as soon as
the fuel hit the
exposed wires on the broken head light the entire fuel truck exploded with
a loud sonic boom.
The explosion totally destroyed surrounding 100 meters, at the heart of the
explosion nothing
was left but a big hole.
Stan felt pain, inconceivable amounts of pain, everything was going
brighter with a crazy
cacophony of sounds, everything just got brighter until he felt burning on
his skin, he screamed
the sound of his voice mixing with the rest of the cacophony, and still
everything was going
brighter and the sound getting louder. He felt like his ear drums were
about to pop, and like
his eyes were getting burned out from the ambient bright light. He kept
the hopeless screaming
until the pain was too much and he passed out.
END part 1
BEGIN part 2 - this is just to unreal
Stan woke up feeling sick, that and the fact that he was lying in/near
some garbage dump
and in a puddle.
He currently was thinking 'shit am I dead????' he looked around, he was in
some kind of an
alley it was night time but the city was alive, there was traffic people
walking, 'guess I am not dead,
dead people probably don't feel pain' and since he did, he concluded he was
alive.
Stan was not sure where he was or what was going on 'must be downtown, but
how the hell did
I get here???'. He stood up a little unsteady checked his backpack which
luckily was waterproof, he
checked his discman which seemed to be fine, but the headphones were
broken, he mentally sighed.
The headphones warranty was still in effect but what would he say when he
came to return them,
'um� they like blew up on me.' 'Ok that was lame' he decided to think of an
excuse after he got
home and took a nice hot shower. He began walking towards the mouth of
the alley, when he
got there he looked around and his mouth dropped open. He saw a GIANT
city, everything was
in some foreign language and English. He decided that before he goes
psychotic he needed to rethink the
situation. Stans brain worked hard with the problem analyzing the current
data he had, 'ok so I must be
like in Chinatown or something' of course the giant buildings did look out
of place, more like they
were not supposed exist. Unless of course someone has recreated the entire
Toronto downtown during
the time he was out. But for the sake of logic he thought 'fine maybe I
was out for a while',
looking around he mentally added 'a long while it seems'.
'Okay so I should ask some one for directions'. He came up to a stranger
and asked "Um excuse me could you please help me" the stranger turned
around and looked at Stan "I kind'a lost my way, could you give me
directions on how to get to Yonge and Shepard [two big streets in
Toronto]". The stranger
looked at Stan like he was crazy and quickly walked off without saying a
single word. Stan mumbled "so like what's his problem� asshole". If Stan
actually paid attention to the speech he might have realized that it took
place in Japanese. The reason he did not realize that because he was
currently feeling lost like a small animal lost in a huge city. He
decided that he should try again, he came up to a woman and asked her
"Hello� excuse me could you please help me", she turned around eyeing him,
Stan felt uncomfortably she was looking at him like he was some kind'a bum
on the street, Stan of course did not realize that's exactly what he looked
like at current moment. But it seemed like the woman was willing to help
anyway, she said "Yes?"
"Um� I kind'a lost my way, could you give me directions on how to get to
Yonge and Shepard". She replied "I know this city pretty well and I can
tell you for sure that such streets don't exist here". Stan looked at her
like she was crazy and said "What you mean they don't exist Yonge is older
than Toronto itself how can it not exist??!?!?!?, you said you knew the
city pretty well!" she replied "Toronto???", Stan looked at her like she
completely lost her mind and said "Ok we are currently in Toronto City,
Canada, Ontario year 1996 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?". She again looked at Stan
like he completely was out of his mind and said with a hint of sarcasm in
her voice "Child we are currently located in MegaTokyo, Japan the year is
2033" she pointed at a TV-clock on a building which read 0:05 Jun 30 2033.
Stan looked at the clock and at the women wide eyed, then turned away and
ran as fast as he could, he just wanted to hide from the craziness that
surrounded him, or maybe he was afraid to admit he was the one who lost
sanity. He ran. Somewhere in the back of his mind the phrase "MegaTokyo
2033" kept echoing, and triggering some familiar memory, before the echo
faded the last reverb sounded more like "MegaTokyo 2033 the story�.".
END part 2
YES! Stan is a BGC otaku his memory is just a little screwed after that
crossing over.
BEGIN part 3
Again Stan woke up in an alley it was day time, Stan got up and looked him
self over.
He looked like shit, no�no� he also smelled like shit and felt like shit.
There after that quick professional assessment of his current situation he
began walking to the mouth of the alley. He sincerely hoped that when he
reaches the end of alley he will be in the good 'ol Toronto, get on the bus
watch people scramble away from him and grab their noses, he would finally
get home. As soon as he reached the mouth of the alley he realized that
there is no way no how that is going to happen. The events of the last
night quickly flooded his mind and he remembered what happened. He
remembered running away after that woman told him that he was in Japan in a
city called MegaTokyo and that the year was 2033. Just before he fell
asleep he remembered a bright flash of blue light somewhere on the horizon
[Authors note: It seems that the standard time for self-insert fic
characters to arrive is almost always after the first episode].
Stan decided to consider the possibilities of him being in year 2033. Ok
first of all about 12 hours ago it was 1996 and he was in Toronto Canada,
Second if this was 2033 why was he still 17 years old?. After pondering on
those for a few minutes he decided that he should go out and look around
'cause no way in hell he would find those answers in his head. Lucky for
Stan no one knew that the info in his head was only known to one or two
being in this universe one of them being Stan, and the other God if he
existed.
Stan was lost in the 12PM crowd of people walking on the street of
MegaTokyo. Stan saw technology which made popular science pages common
place. The place had screens virtually on every building, MegaTokyo looked
awesome, powerful, amazing. After walking around for a while he came to a
computer store window and started checking out the systems and ads, he was
amazed 66Ghz to 1000Ghz machines were common place, he just stared for a
while until he almost broke down in laughter at the thought of his
i80486Dx2-66 at home. He read the ads for a little while more until
something hit him [not literally]. He was reading Japanese! Infact once he
thought about it he spoke Japanese perfectly. Ok just another to add to my
what the hell happened and where am I list.
By 2PM or by 14:00 it seemed MegaTokyo used the 24 hour system the one
without am/pm I mean. Stan was totally out of ideas on what to do he was
lost, dirty, hungry at least they had water fountains in the park! After
more wondering Stan came upon a TV store the font demo screen was a huge
Plasma Crystal display [Those thin ones you pay a lot for but can hang on
the wall like pictures]. They were showing a news report an old man was
saying something about particle beam satellites striking aqua city, Stan
decided to listen. After the news was over Stan thought 'cool they have
particle beam satellites and they fired at aqua city, awesome just like in
Bubble Gum Crises' and at the moment Stan garbed his head feeling the pain
as all locked information was restored, he fell down and screamed in agony,
he was ignored. It hurt like hell he was still feeling dizzy, but when he
opened his eyes again he felt like he was just reborn. He looked at
MegaTokyo with new eyes. Stan did not believe that any of this is real his
current train of thought was 'ok this is not real, and I am just asleep and
having a bad dream, yeah that must be it, just a dream'. But he remembered
the conversations he had and the people they all seemed real, plus he did
not know Japanese and if he did not know it how could he speak it in his
dream. He still decided to test the reality and he pinched himself real
hard to cause some amount of pain. He did not wake up. 'Okay so this is
not a dream I am really in MegaTokyo, the year 2033, and Knight Sabers
exist'.
He a teen who looked like a street bum had enough information to do
anything he wanted, he could bring Genom down, and he had solid proof which
he could use to destroy them! He knew who the Knight Sabers are, he knew
their lives better than they knew them self's!
He was an *OTAKU* in his favorite universe� 'ok that might be just a little
too far relax Stan took a deep breath'
Stan took a look at MegaTokyo and quietly said "I will keep you save
together with Knight Sabers", after a second he added as an afterthought
'hopefully as one of them' .
END part 3
[I know that the last 2 sentences sounded kind'a cheesy but I just didn't
have any better ideas]
BEGIN part 4
Now that Stan remembered everything he was feeling much better, some might
say he was even happy. Stan was currently trying to decide how to meet the
Knight Sabers. He had to find a way not to scare them off, he needed a
plan. Stan was in a hurry to find the Knight Sabers not just because he
wanted to see them, he had a more important reason. He needed to survive,
and the only way Stan could accomplish that task is to meet the Knight
Sabers and to somehow get on their good side, so they accept him. He knew
that Sylia and Mackie will be emotionless/logical with Mackie maybe just a
bit curios, Priss will be angry and not like him one bit and suspicious of
him at every turn and word he says. Nene will be curious, and Linna will
probably be friendly more or less. He obviously has to be very careful how
he acts around them.
He decided that first he needed to find their base the Lady633 clothing
store. He thought about the problem 'Well I just cant ask for directions
to the store. Damn I don't know what street it is on' He did remembered
how the store and surrounding are looked like from the anime. 'Ok since I
have no way of asking for its location I will just walk around, who knows I
might get lucky and be pretty close to it.' After walking for most of day
and feeling really tired he stumbled on to a building, he was in worse
shape than before, he could barely stand up. He crossed to the other side
of the street and heard a motorcycle slowing down Stan turned around and
saw a red and a very loud motorcycle, and a green van come up to the
building. And go to the parking lot behind it. The motorcycle rider got
off the bike, he could see that the rider was definitely a woman. She was
wearing a red jacket she went into the store, after her another women went
in probably the driver of the green van. As soon as they went in a scooter
puled up to the building the driver got up took off her helmet reviling
herself to be a cute redhead. She run inside the same building the two
women before went in. Stan looked higher up at the building, it said on
the top "Lady633".
All tiredness and sleepiness washed away in seconds as he realized who the
three women were. He found his way to their base.
Stan needed a plan how to confront the Knight Sabers. He was currently
thinking 'well I cant just walk in and say.. Hello I know you're the Knight
Sabers' that would most definitely not be best way to confront them. He
decided that he will just come in and see how it goes from there. There
was really no other choice he had no idea on how to confront them and tell
him the things he thought they need to know about him.
END part 4
[I also want to explore the way a character would meet the Knight Sabers
without having an accident happen which allows a nice and easy fit in,
since most fic authors seem to take the saving of Irene as that accident.
I will not have that happen (well I might save her but not in the meet the
Knight Sabers way J)]
BEGIN part 5
After getting his courage up Stan decided to cross the street, one might
think that this is not much of an accomplishment, but when one does not
know how the people known to him as Knight Sabers will react to him one
becomes afraid. He was currently near Lady633's entrance he looked inside,
he could not hear what the people inside were talking about, he could see
that the women behind the counter who he recognized as Sylia had a worried
expression on her face. Stan thought 'you think you have problems now, HA!
Wait until I come into your life.' Then after a second he added 'if I come
in'.
'Well I am not getting any younger� may be not even older since I am 17
and was born in 1979'.
And with that he opened the door and walked in. The reaction to him
walking into a women's clothing store was: The three Knight Sabers were
looking at clothes, to make them self's look innocent, Priss was near the
dress section she was stuck looking at a cute frilly dress, Stan could see
the expression of anger on her face. Stan decided to try the most direct
approach he could, he walked up to Sylia and looked her directly in the
eyes, Sylia just looked back at him with a curios expression on her face,
even though Sylia was just looking back at him in "what would you like Mr.
Customer" way her gaze still fell powerful, almost intimidating he felt
like Sylia looked right through him. The entire exchange last only about a
second before Sylia said "Hello how may I help you?".
Sylia felt something strange, the person who just walked in and looked
like a street bum with a backpack he was dirty, yet when he looked her in
the eyes she felt like he knew way to much, his eyes said he has seen pain,
confusion. Well he is not here for clothing obviously, so she decided to
do what the standard protocol said to do with a person who walked into her
store. She asked him "How may I help you?". Before he responded she could
see a mixture of emotions cross his face, at first at was fear, amazement,
worry, and then they disappeared. He did not seem sure what to say. Sylia
understood that he was here for some reason that would make him afraid for
his life. And she had a pretty good idea of what that business could be.
Although she hoped with her heart that he did not know what he was not
supposed to know. He quietly said "Um� could I please speak to you� in
private" even though he said that very quietly the three remaining Knight
Sabers in the store heard what he said and looked at him, Priss put her
hand in her jacket on the gun. Sylia decided what to do, the store
scanners showed that he was unarmed human, so unless he was a good martial
artist, or a street fighter she should be able to take him on if he tries
anything.
Linna began soundlessly walk to get behind the stranger, Priss
strengthened her grip on the gun but kept it inside the jacket. Sylia
decided that the stranger did not pose too much threat and if he did it was
not immediate physical. So she looked back at him in the eyes, and said
"Please come with me". She began walking downstairs to the basement where
he could not escape if he tried something.
Stan followed Sylia down to the basement. Stan wondered why is Sylia going
to basement with him, until he realized that if something went not to
Sylias liking he would have no way of escape, Stan silently gulped. Sylia
silently called the elevator, it came they went in, and she pressed the B2
button. The elevator started going down. The door opened they walked into
a dark room with two chairs and a mirror.
The mirror must be transparent on the other side Stan thought.
Outside the room Linna and Priss stood ready for anything if this stranger
tried something, in the monitoring room Nene was running a scan to make
sure Stan had no conceived cybernetics, or weapons with stealth coating or
anything else that might prove as potential danger. The sensors seem to
prove that the quick scan in the store was right, he was clean although he
had some electric device on his belt, but since it did not register as a
weapon or the right kind material to be a knife or a like object, and did
not emit electromagnetic signatures strong enough to be a data transmitter
she decided he was not a threat.
Inside the room they sat down on the chairs facing each other. Stan did
not know how to begin he was currently thinking along the lines 'Hi I am
Stan and I know you are the Knight Sabers' 'well that sucked�' he was
currently thinking of a way to begin, while Sylia was just looking at him
with a questioning gaze. Stan thought 'Shit I am scared, maybe if I just
say oops sorry and go I would feel much better', but quickly looking at
Sylia he realized that there is no turning back now. So he looked back up
into Sylias eyes and said "Hello I am Stan�" right after he said that he
thought 'damn what kind'a of an idiot am I? "Hello I am Stan" who would say
that, damn!!!!'.
Sylia looked at the man thinking 'He seems to nervous, that's good' she
decided to let him start, when a person is nervous and you want them to
make a mistake you better let them lead. She was just looking at him until
he gathered enough courage to say "Hello I am Stan". Sylia replied "Hello
Mr. Stan, you asked for my private attention, what would you like???". She
was looking at dirty man he was not too tall, a little taller than Mackie.
She could not tell what age he was but he did not look to old, she thought
maybe its because he is dirty.
Stan decided to say another line "I have some information I would like to
share with you". 'Ok well I wont tell her I know who Knight Sabers are yet
but I'll say where I come from, and see how she reacts to that'. After a
second he said "Miss Stingray. Well I would like to tell you I am not from
around here"
Sylia answered "I see" a little surprised that he knew her last name, Stan
replied "No, I mean I am not from Japan at all and have never been here
before, infact my first language is Russian, Second is English which I
learned at a very young age by moving to Canada from Ukraine, you see I
never studied Japanese, so I am not supposed to be able to speak it". At
that Sylia raised an eyebrow "Well you seem to speak the Japanese quite
well for some one who was never here before, or not supposed to know the
language". Stan replied "Yeah� I know that's the problem", Sylia continued
"Well where exactly are you from Mr. Stan?" "I am from Toronto, Canada"
Stan said. There were few cities that could stand up to MegaTokyo, Toronto
was one of them.
Sylia realized that he was going around the point and he did not actually
said anything that would give away anything important to her, even though
he seemed to truly believe that he is not supposed to be able to speak
Japanese to be true. Sylia decided to lead him to spill the beans "So why
did you come to see me? I am sure a lady's clothing store owner is not the
best person to seek in such a situation?".
Stan thought 'damn, she is getting through me faster than I wanted, he
knew that there was no fooling Sylia, but he did not count on her trying to
get to the point so fast. Stan decided to ignore that question and
continue "Miss Stingray there are some confusing things that happened to me
lately. For example I have existed for 17 years, so knowing this when was I
born?".
Sylia looked at Stan for a moment and just realized that she was speaking
to a 17 year old. 'Who would use a teen for their dirty work??, there just
seems to end to peoples evil' She felt sad for the teen but did not
physically showed it, here he was a 17 year old person no older than
Mackey, and some one was using him for dirty work. So she answered him
"You were born in 2016", his face just acquired a small sad smile and he
said "Miss Sylia Stingray I was born June 22 year 1979". There was stunned
silence from Sylia until she said "Why do you think that ?". "You don't
believe me do you?� Of course you don't, who would??" Stan said.
"Well if you had any proof of that" Sylia said, Stan's face acquired a
frown and he said "How would you prove something like that?", Sylia still
looked totally emotionless and said "Exactly how do you prove that?" Stan
pulled out his wallet took out a Card and gave it to Sylia, he also took
out a dark blue/black book and gave it to Sylia, it said passport on it.
She looked at the card first, it said "Drivers License" and then bits of
info like the year it was assigned the date was "January 20 1996" [Authors
note: I forgot the exact layout of the License and too lazy to go and get
from my pocket. Actually its a G1 permit but lets not go into that now�],
Then she looked at the passport she found that the passport was also a
Canadian passport which was extremely old for this time. She handed the
documents back to Stan and said "These could be easily faked", Stan sighed
and said "Well that is all the ID I got on me now, and yet about 18 hours
ago I was walking on a street in Toronto the date was June 30 1996" he
decided that there was no need to tell Sylia that he should also be dead.
But with Sylia keeping things a secret never worked too well. Sylia asked
"So then how did you get here?", 'damn should I tell her exactly what I
remember?? Ah hell I'll just go and tell I don't think she'll think that I
am any crazier anyway.' Ok here goes nothing Stan thought "Okay I was
crossing an intersection on a red light, and did not see a fuel truck
coming at me it tried to slowdown it could not do it in time, somehow I
jumped out of the way but a car hit it from behind and it blew up, the next
thing I know I woke up here in MegaTokyo. The BGC universe" 'oh shit I
just made the worst slip I ever. Shit� shit� shit�!!!! What will she think
about my last remark!!!!!'. Sylia wondered what he meant when he said the
BGC universe but decided to let it go, it did not seem to have any relation
to why he came to her, and that made her wonder. "So you still did not
answer me why did you come to me ?". "Because I have some information I
want to tell you.", Sylia looked at him and said "Was that the information
what you wanted to tell me?" She looked at him again he nodded his head
sideways, he seemed more nervous then before, it looked like he wanted to
tell her something but was just to afraid to say it. She said "Well then
why don't you tell me what you came here to tell me". He looked at her and
asked "I am just not sure if you want to know what I have to tell you, and
how safe it safe it would be for me?". Sylia looked at him he looked like
child in distress and said "Well I cant hurt you in any way so what's there
to be afraid of?" Stan looked at Sylia like she just lied straight into his
face and he knew it, but he gathered his courage and took a deep breath,
looked at Sylia for a few seconds then closed his eyes and clearly said
"You're the Knight Sabers"
END part 5
BEGIN part 6
Nene in the monitoring room opened her eyes wide in surprise, as did Linna
who just came into the monitoring room with Priss, Priss on the other hand
had an expression of death on hear face and pulled her gun out and began
walking towards the door. Linna stopped her. And made her put the gun back
into her jacket.
About 10 seconds have passed Stan still had his eyes closed. Well he was
pretty sure he was still alive, that was good. He opened his eyes to look
back at Sylias expressionless face.
Sylia began speaking again and she asked "Well why do you think I am a
member of these Knight Sabers ?". Stan was actually impressed with the way
Sylia acted. But with the proof he had, there was no way Sylia could fool
him. He just looked down at the floor sadly and said "Miss Stingray I did
not say you were a member of Knight Sabers�" he paused for few seconds "I
said you're the night Knight Sabers I meant You Sylia Stingray who is the
boss�" he looked back up right into Sylias eyes and continued "white saber,
Priss Asagiri blue saber, Linna Yamazaki green saber, Nene Romanova red
saber".
Every one in the monitoring room was quite amazed at the information the
man had.
Sylia continued "Well there is no reason to deny that what you told me
already, Could you please tell me how you acquired this information?" Stan
looked back at Sylia and asked "Are you sure that's what you want? The
means I acquired this information are most likely are not available to
anyone in the world". Sylia continued "Well then why don't you tell me
anyway?". Stan answered "Okay but I hope that you don't think that I am
totally raving mad.". Sylias face became something a bit closer to a smile
and she said "After what you told me already I highly doubt that anything
else you might say will make you seem any more confused than you currently
are". Stans face also became a bit closer to a smile and he said "Fine
Miss Stingray if you insist so I will tell you." And so Stan began "Well
you see where I come from���."
After he was done Sylias face had an expression of deep thought. The other
Knight Sabers in the monitoring room were again amazed.
After a while of silence Sylia asked "Well why did you not go to Genom and
tell them everything they would have paid you a lot of money and you could
have enjoyed you life here in MegaTokyo or do anything else you wanted to".
Stan looked with expression of rage at Sylia and said "What kind'a person
do you think I am?!?!?!?!? I would never do something like that!!!!�..
never" than quietly he added "even if my life depended on it." Sylia now
had an question expression on her face and asked "Why not?". Stan looked
back at Sylia and said "Because I am not some bastard who would betray the
Knight Sabers trust if I have any or will, I think Knight Sabers are the
only people who realizing what Genom is doing and trying to stop them".
The people in the monitor room reacted differently to this. Nene and
Linna were surprised, Priss on the other hand had a smile on her face.
Sylia asked him "So now that you know this what will you do?". Stan
looked at Sylia and back down at the floor and said "I have nothing to do,
nowhere to go, I am lost here I have no family no friends here�" he paused
took a deep breath and added "I am alone there is no one who knows me in
the entire world. " he took another breath and said "I have no identity
here I don't exist officially" Sylia looked at miserable looking teen and
wondered what to do, Killing him was not a possibility she was not like
Genom she would never stoop the their level, yet something had to be done
about the kid. She thought well he knows who we are, he knows everything
about us, he did not blackmail us for money or go to Genom. But why did he
come to us and told us everything??? That was one thing she did not
understand, what's the point of putting himself in danger like that??? She

Stan looked at Sylia wide eyed for a few seconds, Sylia just smiled in
return, after a second of stunned silence Stan quietly answered "Yes".
Sylia responded "That's good" after a second she looked into Stans eyes
seeing total amazement there she added, "Nene, Linna, Priss come here and
call Mackey too".
After a few minutes the door to the room opened and the rest of the Knight
Sabers came in.
Stan looked for a few seconds at people who came in and thought 'wow I did
it, I actually became friends with the Knight Sabers, and I am really here
looking at Nene, Priss, Mackey, Linna and Sylia'.
Linna looked faintly curios, probably thinking does he know anything which
I can make money off
Priss looked bored, yet the bored expression looked forced, Stan was sure
she was quite existed by the events
Nene just looked nervous. Stan wasn't sure was Nene was thinking.
Mackey looked curious, hopefully thinking that its would be cool to have
someone around his age and male with the Knight Sabers. Two people would
have a better chance of getting naked shots of the female Knight Sabers
than one.
Well Sylia decided to speak first "Knight Sabers, I would like you to meet
a new member of our team, as you know his circumstance is� rather unique,
but valid". Stan decided to say something, after a few seconds of nervous
silence he said "Hello". Priss answered first "Yo, so you gonna be with us
kicking boomers asses eh?", Stan looked a Priss and said "Yeah�. Something
like that", Linna just said "Hello", Nene looking somewhat nervous mumbled
"Um� Hello". Stan responded "Hi".
Mackey spoke next "Hi, Welcome to the family".
Sylias face acquired another smile and she said "well why don't I show you
around the house, Mackey go watch the store", Mackey replied "sure sis"
and ran out of the room. Stan and Sylia stood up, and left the
room with the rest of the Knight Sabers.
Stan wondered why Sylia did not ask him if he knew the future because what
he told her kind'a gave pointers to his knowledge, but since Sylia did not
ask him he decided that there was no need to tell them. He felt bad about
keeping secrets from Knight Sabers but for his or their own benefit he
decided that it would be better to keep that information to him self.
They went into the elevator and Sylia asked Stan to give her his ID again,
he did. Sylia said "We'll have to make you a valid ID and a story." She
turned to Nene and gave her the ID, Nene looked at the ID in her hand then
back at Sylia and said "That's fine I can do it, no problem". Stan smiled
and said "Hacking is not nice Nene, you might get some one in trouble".
Nene lost her nervous expression and said "Ha! When I hack the only ones
that get in trouble is the ones I want!". Stan kept the smile going and
said "Actually hacking rulez, its the only way to live". Sylia looked
faintly amused, she knew that hackers had a bad habit to put z instead of
an s in some words, and the fact that he knew that was fairly interesting,
and most likely an indication of him being more than a novice computer
user. Nene just smiled.
After that they went to Sylias living room, Sylia sat down and motioned
for Stan do so, but he said "Look at me Miss Stingray, if I sit down then
the place will need to be cleaned out." Sylia looked back at Stan, he
continued "Would there be any chance of you having somewhere a spare pair
of clothing that could fit me?", Sylia said "Yes Mackey is about your size
his clothing would probably fit you, and please call me Sylia Miss Stingray
makes me sound far to old, ok Mister Stan?". "Um� Okay sure�. Sylia" Stan
answered, Sylia just smiled and got up to ask Mackey for clothing, when
Stan asked something else "Ah� Sylia is there any possibility of me being
able to take a nice hot shower?". Sylia said "Yes� Do you know where it
is?". Stan looked at Sylia and said "No", "Well, go into that hallway" she
pointed at a hallway "and first door to the right, I'll leave the clothes
and the towel outside the door, I'll knock to tell you when I brought it
up."
Stan said "Okay thanx" and went to finally take a nice hot shower.

Stan was currently in the shower enjoying the nice hot water, Sylia
brought him clothes just before he went into the shower, she knocked and
left it beside the door he picked them up, and took his old dirty clothes
of and went into the shower. He let the shower wash away his problems for
a short while, just simply enjoying the hot water. He was not sure how
long he was in the shower when e finished using the towel he dressed,
Mackeys clothes seemed to fit him fine. He left the shower room and came
back into the living room. Sylia and Linna were discussing something,
Linna was saying "Ok I got to go and meet a friend from the health club, I
am gonna cheer her up". And with that she left. Stan just realized who
Linna is going to meet and what exactly is going to happen, he had to do
something. It was still pretty bright outside so the time was about 6PM,
Sylia seemed to use the AM/PM system at home unlike most of the city. He
still had a few hours, that's good he thought. Suddenly Sylia interrupted
him and said "So what are you so concentrated on?". Stan looked back at
Sylia and quickly said "Nothing important", 'yeah right! Only a death that
all!'. Sylia asked "Would you like something to eat?". Stan realized he
was as hungry as hell, so he said "Yes, please." . Sylia turned out to be
a great cook, she made food for three. As soon as she put the food on the
table which smelled great Mackey rushed in and said "Great, Dinner!!". The
three ate in silence, Mackey finished first said "Thanx" and ran away
somewhere, Stan finished second "Thank you Sylia this was very good",
Sylia finished almost at the same time Stan did and said "You're welcome",
she smiled and said "Stop being so formal, you're around friends here if
you don't stop acting formal than I will begin being formal toward you
too". "Hey that cool with me, I actually don't like formality, the only
place it should be used is business dealings!" Stan said. Sylia smiled "So
you want to go and see the room you will live in?" she said. Stan said
"Sylia what I always wanted to do is go out and see MegaTokyo, if you have
a map that I could borrow and go see the city I would like that very much".
"Sure I think I got one somewhere" she came back a minute later with a
device that looked like a video game, "Here" she said. Stan took a look at
it turned out to be a digital map, with instructions on how to use the
device. Stan began to walk toward the door, but Sylia stopped him and said
"Here take my cell [Authors note: for those of you who are tech term
deprived cell means a cellular phone] if you get lost, give me a call, I'll
be here at home for now so I don't need it". "Ok thanks" said Stan took
the cell phone and with that he left the building.
Stan used the map to find Chinatown he knew that's were Linna and Irene
are currently at, the map device turned out to really cool you could just
enter what you are looking for and it would find it on the map and show it
to you, along with the best way to get there. So Stan entered "Chinatown"
the device beeped to acknowledge that a search query was entered and the
color active matrix LCD display quickly scrolled across the map and
surrounded some part of the city with a green square, It turned out that
the little device also had a link to the GPS [Global Positioning System]
satellite so it quickly found the best way to get there by foot, and showed
it with a red line, on the bottom of the screen it said

The device proved correct, lucky for Stan the MegaTokyo Chinatown was
pretty large but it was only along one street on both sides. He knew how
Linnas van looked like so he was trying to find it walking up the street.
After about of 30 minutes of wondering he found it, and there was a tow
truck coming right to it at the current moment. He got here in time. The
tow truck picked up the green van and began taking it somewhere, at the
moment Linna came out of the restaurant along with Irene. She screamed
"Hey that's my car!!!!" but she was ignored. Stan decided that time to
move was now.
He screamed across the street "Hey Linna wha'cha doin' here?". And ran
across the street to Linna and Irene. Irene asked "Linna who's that?",
"Ah� Just a friend". Stan came up to Linna and asked "So Linna who's your
friend here ?", Irene cheerfully answered "Hi I am Irene nice to meet you",
Stan smiled back and said "Same here, my name's Stan". Linna decided to
join and ask "So� what are you doing here?", "Me??? Just checking out the
city" Stan showed Linna the map device. "And asked so where are you
going?". Irene said "Home", "So how are you gonna get there it seems like
you're missing a method of transportation?", Linna offered "We'll walk
with you home Irene". Irene replied "No that okay I live close by anyway".
That was the moment Stan was waiting this was the time to change history
or future depends how one looks at it. Stan said "Oh come Irene you're
barely holding those packages anyway, we'll walk with you and help you!".
Irene said "Okay sure, she gave Stan some of the packages". Linna said
"Come on Stan you just wanna spend some time with a cute girl right??",
"Hey can you blame me?" Stan replied. Linna continued "So let's go then,
Irene lead the way".
They began moving down the street, out of the corner of his eye Stan could
see a dark black car slowly moving behind them. About after 15 minutes of
walking, Stan decided to share the information with Linna. Stan said "Um�
Linna we've got a little problem". Linna said "I know, the black car"
Irene wanted to turn back. Linna quickly said "Don't look back Irene".
Irene was nervous "Ah�. I think they are after me because I have a lead on
what happened to my boyfriend". Stan said "Irene relax act normal, you
don't know what happening as far as everyone else is concerned ok?". Irene
quietly said "Okay", Linna decided it was time to take action "I'll
distract them you run", "I have a better idea" Stan took out the cell out
of his pocket and gave it Linna, she dialed a number. "Stan did you get
lost?" asked a voice on the other end. Linna began "No Sylia we're fine
for now, but I don't know for how long, there is a black car following us.
I think it's Genom after Irene, because she got a lead on exactly what
happened to her boyfriend". Sylia said "Okay just don't arouse any
attention for now I'll get Priss to come, and Mackey to come and pick you
up in the van."
Stan asked for the phone, "Sylia I think there is a boomer in that car,
which should be destroyed, to keep some one safe", "Yes I think it should,
be careful", "We will" Stan put the cell back into his pocket and said "Ok
lets just walk on ahead". Linna asked "If we destroy the boomer won't
Genom know what we did?". "Nope, the boomers don't have a real-time
connection. Only to ask for orders that it, everything else is downloaded
once they are back, so killing her will not reveal anything to Genom"
'SHIT!!!!!!!!!!! I just made a fuckin' bad slip! Please forget I said
"her"'.
Everyone heard a faint sound of a motorcycle engine coming closer. Linna
said "Okay as soon as Priss comes run!". Priss came and began slowing down
to match the speed with the car. Linna, Stan, Irene dropped what they were
holding and rushed into the narrow alley where the car could not fit, they
run until they came to an over pass, they ran up, and that's when Irene
fell down to "Tired to run, go on without me" she huffed, At that moment
the black car came up right beside all three, and a woman came out of the
car.
Linna wasn't sure if it was a boomer, but as soon as claws came out she
understood that this was a machine. At that moment Priss came right under
the underpass, the boomer began walking towards Irene, Linna and Stan
picked Irene up and were walking backwards away for the killer, with Irene
over their shoulders. Priss took off her helmet and looked around
'Shit!!!! where are they'.
The boomer increased the speed of its steps, and was coming closer to the
trio, at the moment Stan screamed "Holy shit look Knight Sabers" he
pointed behind the boomer "ha you stupid shit box of chips you're dead
now!!!!" The boomers emergency protocols kicked in, Knight Sabers were the
primary targets with a threat rating of 100% percent! It turned around and
found nothing in visual range, it did an IR, sonic and radar scan and found
nothing.
Priss under the overpass heard the scream and rushed forward away from the
underpass and turned around, when she looked up she saw a boomer turning
towards Linna, Stan, and walking towards them, she took out her earth
shaker gun and took aim. She pulled the trigger, and hit the boomer right
into the shoulder, the boomer's hand fell limp, unfortunately the other
hand was fully functional, the boomer calculated the chances of
accomplishing its mission, 40% the bullet did heavy damage to the internal
synthetic muscle systems, the ones in the right part of its body were not
operational any more, it also took out the backup systems, and the power
plant. It was running on the emergency battery which would last only for
40 seconds, It was supposed to be used while the backup system rerouted
power from the power plant, unfortunately the power plant was not
functioning any more. The boomer found the most logical solution jump at
them with its claws out and so it did.
The boomer jumped right for Irene, at the current moment Stan was
thinking. 'NO!!!!NO!!!! FUCK NO!!!! I couldn't just have fucked up so
bad! SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' What he did was more of an instinct than a
logical solution, he pushed Irene hard to the left, both Irene and Linna
fell out of the boomers way, but the boomers claw struck right through
Stans right hand.
The boomers battery died and it collapsed the 40 seconds reserve was for
mainly evading the enemy and not doing anything heavy, and since the boomer
jumped hard the battery died.
Stan collapsed with a loud scream, he was feeling pain and cold metal
right through his arm! Blood flowed freely, and a lot of it. If he did
not get professional medical help soon, his new life in MegaTokyo will come
to an early end. Unfortunately the pain was to much and he passed out.
