Well im not a writter like many other people here but i have some friends
that just like me are just lurkers (and just a few ones who are writters),
and some time ago we were talking about this and i found that other of
the reasons why many guys who are here don't do too many C&C it's beacuse
some times we just sent a mail with compliments or C&C (like miself im
not too good making C&C but i like to sent letters to just say "hey i
like the fanfic") and then the writter never takes his time to say "Hey
tanks for answering".

Actually, a very good point. I've always tried to cultivate
readers and C&C'ers by answering their E-mail as soon as possible.
It sometimes takes time, but it's well worth it. I want them to know
just how much I appreciate them taking their valuable time to comment
(however brief).
On the flip side, I appreciate those who respond to *my* C&C.
I don't do a very good job sometimes, but letting the writer know there
are folks out there reading and enjoying their stories is what fuels
this ML.

Yes i know that many of the writters don't have time to answer all the
letters that they got but i can tell you that just a simple reply saying
tanks it's going to made the guy who sent the C&C think that you are
really paying attention to his opinion and he will probably start to do
more C&C (I had made some friends here in that way).

The bottom line is: If you got time to bang out a story, you've
got time to send a simple 'thank you' to someone who used his or her
time to read that story and let you know. It's just a simple case of
courtesy.

so if you whant some C&C just remeber that you have to give somethig in
order to get somethig

just mi how do you say Two cents ???

Worth far more that that, Tony.
