I doubt that this message will get to the real author of this thing
(that address looks suspect at best), so I'm forced to go public with
this one.

First off, I was quite taken aback by the deaths of the beloved
Knight Sabers at the hands of a dozen or so Boomers. The deaths described
are gruesome, gory, and shocking in nature, leaving little to the
imagination. I winced about seven or eight times just reading this fic.
Even a non-BGC-otaku like me was appalled at their murder.

However, the story itself was written quite well, with vivid and
highly descriptive language that I would not expect in a fic of this
genre (shockfic et al). The terse, fragmented sentences describing the
scene after the fateful battle nicely characterize the feelings and moods
permeating the setting. The final scene between Linna and Nene was
touching and poignant, giving character to two of my favorite (and often
most-overlooked) BGC characters.

As I read the ending of the story, though, I couldn't help but think
that the deaths of the KS were pointless and completely uncalled for. If
the author was trying to make a grand statement with their deaths, I
missed it completely. The last paragraph, which was obviously supposed to
be a clever reference to something else, went completely over my head.
Could anyone enlighten me as to what the company GENOM merged with was
supposed to be?

In short, a good shortfic that I wish I hadn't read. I'm depressed
now. :(
