Okay, I'm finished thinking up an outline for a Ranma 1/2 fanfic and
am wondering what I should use to write it. Should I just write it in on an
e-mail, or should I write it as a txt/doc/nws document? Any suggestions?
Thank you for your time.

I definitely recommend using an editor rather than your e-mail program.

The reason for this is (a) you can save different versions of your
story, and more importantly (b) you can let your story sit for a day
or two after writing it and then go back and read it with a critical
eye... and find out all those blunders you made but didn't see because
you were so caught up in the story.

IMHO, of course.
