True.  On the other hand, some darkfics can start quite light.  I don't like 
it when these stories get labelled [dark]; it ruins the surprise.  In 
general, the more you keep the labels to a minimum (i.e., [NC-17] instead of 
[lemon][dark][sad][violent][swearing]), the less you give away too early.
