As a comic book artis of the Mangaka persuation, I have very few worries.
Well, big worries. Ok, I have a lot of worries, but none quite so great
as making sure the Amerimanga publishers stay successful.

The greatest of which would be Antartic Press, based in San Antonio,
Texas. This company is famous for releasing "Ninja High School" and
"Gold Digger".

Thank you. }:-{D

Anyway, noting beets a little free publicity. AP mentioned on their
website that their companies name would be mentioned in an upcoming film
written by "Clerks" scribe, Kevin Smith. Well, a new Kevin Smith movie
is about to be released and it just happens to be "Chasing Amy", as we
all know. What you probably don't know is that the common thread between
heterosexual male "Holden" and lesbian love interest "Alyssa" in this
critically aclaimed feature is THAT THERY ARE BOTH COMIC BOOK ARTISTS
(_Newsweek_, April 7, 1997, P73)!!!!

If this isn't the movie AP was reffering to, I don't know what is. The
bad news is, though release is near, their isn't a word about it on the
AP website, which leads me to some disturbing thoughts... could the
scenes have been edited out?

Say it aint so!

It ain't so.

or if it is, they didn't tell us.

The reason it's not mentioned on the AP site is it's old news- the scenes
were announced about a year ago.

A handful of AP employees, including Mike Cogliandro (who has since gone on
to other projects), Joe Dunn and Matthew High are supposed to appear as
extras as well.
