Ranma 1/2: The Flash

[Standerd disclaimer. This is a fifth fanfic that i've started on. It's based on one of my
favorite shows: The Flash. Although there will be some differances between the show
and this fic, I will try to keep it inside the base lines of Ranma 1/2 and The Flash.
You know;
(1)The main character getting struck by lightning.
(2)Discovering his newfound speed, a doctor helping
him adjust to the changes.
(3)The main character speaking before thinking.
(4)The Fiance troubles.
(5)The curses.
(6)And of course the most importantly: the RED SUIT.

It might be a while before i updated this and my other fics but i'll try to do so ASAP.]

It was a dark, stormy night in Nerima. It was a usual storm for those who lived
there, but it would end in not the usual way. For Ranma Saotome's fate will take a
drastic turn in which no one would have ever guessed.

"Man i can't believe how late it is and if that's bad enough it raining outside. Still,
as soon as I finish this lab project, I'm outta here," said Ranma as he glanced outside.
In Ranma's hands are some test tubes with unknown contents. While pouring the
contents into a beaker, Ranma misses the sight of a lightning bolt headed strait at him.

Meanwhile outside the school, Akane Tendo was walking towards the school with
a bowl of food and an umbrella over her head. "Honestly Ranma, couldn't you have
picked a better night to catch up on your science work." As she looks at the school
a bolt of lighting streaks through the sky and hits the school, exactly were the science
lab was located. "Oh my god, RANMA!!!" shouts Akane as she drops the umbrella
and bowl on the ground and makes a mad dash into the school.

Back in the lab, the bolt hits Ranma and sends him flying into rows of
chemicals. Ranma crashes through the chemicals and keeps flying till he hits the door
and tumbles out. Just as Akane about to reach him, he passes out.

Akane races up the stairs as fast as she can, and heads down the hall towards
the science lab. As she draws near the lab, Ranma comes flying out with incredible
speed as if he has thrown out. She watches as Ranma passes out, scared she picked
him up and takes him to Dr. Tofu's.

Dr. Tofu was just saying goodnight to his last patient and was about to lockup
when he saw Akane running towards him with Ranma-chan on her back. "What's
wrong, Akane," asks Dr. Tofu.

"It's Ranma, Dr. Tofu. He was struck by lighting at school," replies Akane.

"Holy shit. Quickly put 'em down on the table," snaps Dr. Tofu. Dr. Tofu
checks Ranma for a pulse, and found one. "Well, he's still alive, thankfully," says Dr.
Tofu, "but he's covered with something. Do you know what it is, Akane?"

"No, but he was working in the schools science lab when he was struck,"
replies Akane.

"Hmm... This is not a good sign."

"What do you mean doctor," asked Akane.

"Nothing, just I'd like to keep him here over night if you don't mind." replied
Dr. Tofu.

Akane nods her head and take one last look at Ranma before heading for
home. As she walks home she starts to cry, thinking about how close Ranma came
to dying. "Ranma, you dummy. You just had to take care of your science project
tonight instead of waiting to take care of it."

Dr. Tofu looks at Ranma before shaking his head. "Poor boy, getting struck
by lighting. I didn't have the heart to tell Akane that he will die and there's nothing
I can do to help him live. I better prepare everything for when the time comes. It's
just hard to believe that, after everything he's been through, he'll die from a bolt of
lightning." Sighing to himself, Dr. Tofu leaves to prepare the proper papers for time
of death and such.

Back in the room with Ranma, Ranma started to twitch and his hand swung
out faster than the eye could blink and grabbed the stool that was next to him. As
Ranma sat up slowly, he looked around a little groggily. "What the hell happened to
me? Why am I at Dr. Tofu's?" Ranma asks himself. "The last thing I remember is
being at school and a blinding light, then a flying sensation and my back being
pounded on and then darkness. Well, I better get home before they worry about me."

As Akane got home, she was greeted my Nodoka. "What's wrong Akane?
Did Ranma say something upsetting to you, again?" asks Notice. Akane hugged
Nodoka like she was a life preserver on the ocean. "Oh, auntie something terrible has
happened to Ranma. He was struck by... by... lightning," replied akane as she wept
in the embrace. "No," Nodoka said in a small, whisper like voice. She started to
break down and cry and the thought of loosing her only son.

Hearing the crying at the front door, the entire household shows up wondering
what's happened. Akane tells them what's happened to Ranma at school and
everyones reaction is that of shock.

"On no, poor Ranma," says Kasumi

Nabiki as a face filled with total shock.

Soun, as usual, starts crying like 'Niagara Falls" but this time Genma joins in.

They are all startled when the front door opens and Ranma steps inside.

Cause his equilibrium is off, Ranma is slowly walking home in a dazed state.

He reaches the front door to the Tendo Dojo and opens it up and steps inside. He
see's that everybody is in the entrance way and that they are looking at Ranma as if
they've seen a ghost. "What's wrong? Why is everybody so shocked to see me? It's
like you've all seen a ghost," says Ranma as he looks at everybody.

"Ra... ra... ranma, is that really you," asks Akane.

"Yeah it's me. Who else would I be," replies Ranma.
