  The basic problem I see with this premise is that a woman with the life
experience and character formed over nearly a century will not be
compatible with a 17-year old mate. Akane will be vastly more complex and
sophisticated than Ranma and they will have no chance to grow up together.
Where will she find the enthusiasm and naivete that comes so naturally and
becomingly to a young woman in love?  Who will be her peers?  I'm not
saying that you shouldn't write this story, but that you should be aware of
some of the problems that I think that you would have to address.  If you
think that you can make it work, go for it.
