Well, would you rather they be ripping out their cell phones and preparing
lawsuits?  I'm not sure, but the way I heard it, manga/anime creators have a
"don't ask don't tell" policy towards fanfiction.  I can't possibly see how
they're _not_ aware of fanfiction based on their works, considering the volume
of works on the Net, but they probably just turn a blind ear (ehrm, so to
speak...) to such works.

After all, we _are_ committing copyright infringement here, are we not?

Actually, Ki..K..Err....Argh, I don't remember the name.. I know at least
one of the authors knows about it and complimented one of the authors, at
any rate.  There was some deal about it a while back.. It's really foggy
right now though :/ Anyone else remember this or is my brain hopelessly
scrambled?

Also, technically, if you look at it we aren't commiting copyright
infringment-  We don't sell fanfiction, it's not created to promote any
products or anything (Baka Cola does -not- count) and it's not in the same
medium, say, television or professional manga formats (unless you count the
KOR novels).  Not to mention the disclaimers so many people put in their
fics, I think so long as the creators and rights are mentioned, they really
couldnt get anyone on anything..
