Hi all, 

Was just wondering about "language". Humans aren't the only ones on this earth
which can communicate.

Just because we can't understand the communication between other living
beings, shouldn't mean that they don't have a language.

What of the humans of our world who are mute? What language do they use? What
of the deaf and blind? What language do they use?

If someone where to sign to you in sign-language and you didn't understand,
one might have assumed that the person was just using random gestures until
one really looked and observed.

The same is true with other creatures. Just because they can't "speak" in a
way we can understand, doesn't mean they don't "talk" to one another.

Insects communicate through various sounds created through either rubbing
parts of their body together, flexing membranes, emitting light, or through
dance patterns. These are all forms of communcation with their own linguistic
rules.

The same would apply to the animals of the world. The plants of the world, and
of course, our friend and tool, the computers of the world. :p

As far as the bible being a historical document.. *smiles* I've no comment on
that except that in my PERSONAL OPINION, it is a book detailing what some
individuals thought to write down and nothing more.  IF people decide that
what those people have written down IS historical truths.. then that is fine
for them.  The same could be said about the "Satanic Bible" by Anton LeVey. He
claims it's a theological text. He claims he knows the way as well. He claims
that his beliefs are not evil, that only those who deserve to be punished are
used as sacrificial *ahem* items. 

We all have different perceptions of the world.. even those who would believe
in Magick. *wondering how many people know what the extra k is for. :p*
