For myself, I don't think you can be true to the spirit of both series and
have a cross over.  Granted there is "Mobile Suit P-Chan" but that goes a
long way to prove my point, I think.  Ranma is light hearted fun with
generally irresponsible people.  Gundam is angst on a solar scale.
Especially Wing.  That makes Zeta gundam look cheerful.  Gadzooks!!

But doesn't that make Gundam a great show to parody?
