Knickers Giving Day
    14 March.  This is a slightly bizarre recent addition to the collection of
festivals in Japan.  The idea is that men should reciprocate the gift of
chocolates on 14 February, St Valentine's Day, with a gift of panties for
their lady!

Well, I've heard of (I believe it's called) "White Day", which is on March 14,
where men reciprocate the Valentine's Day gifts they received the month
before.  Though, as I understand, what is given doesn't have to be any
one set thing.  For example, it could be chocolate or flowers.  I don't
believe it has to be panties...

I can just picture the Ranma story comming out of this.  Well come on
people, don't keep me waiting!

Nevertheless, it could make for a highly entertaining story.  (I can just
picture Soun and Genma wrapping up a pair of panties and labelling it "To
Akane from Ranma".  Or, in a different story, "To Ranma from
Happosai" (now we know why he's been stealing them).  Or, in a bizarre
alternaworld, "To Ranma from Ryoga".  Or, in an even more bizarre
alternaworld, "To Akane from Principal Kuno".  Or... OK, I'll stop there)
