I'd have to agree with Richard here.  I usually keep stuff bottled
up in my head until I have the time to write them.  Then, I sit
down at the typewriter and get going.  The reason why I use a typewriter
is I edit while I create, and anyone who has taken a creative writng
class knows that the most important part is the initial writing,
and the editing can come later.  So the typewriter gives me less
of a chance to go back and change things radically.
