I just had a strange revolation.

Minna: in English this means "Everyone"

ko: suffex that (from what I understand) stands for "wife". (I'm
basing this on the fact that Mamoru always calls Usagi "Usako".)

So does that mean that when litteraly translated, Minakos name means
"Everyones wife"?

Actually, -ko is just a common suffix for female names. If there is any
other signifigance to the suffix, I've never heard of it.
And Minako's name is a corruption of the japanese word for Venus "binasu"
bi can also be pronounced as ve and su can be ko. So the meaning of her
name is simply, "Venus". And still no one figured out her ID....

Wait a sec. -ko does have a secondary meaning. I believe it means to
Call or to summon.

Ryo- Devil/Evil Spirit
Ko- Call/Summon

"It's the reason I'm called Ryoko, the Devil Caller."

Still, MOST of the time it's not a word on it's on, not that I've seen
anyway...
