*giggle* Usually (in manga, neways) a few panels with head thrown back in
ecstacy type of thing b/c of the law about not showing actual stuff, but
there is definitely lots and lots of sex. *grin*

Actually, in the one or two yaoi manga I found in Japan (last year), the 
sex was _every bit_ as explicit as in other hentai manga. Still dreamy, 
but incredibly graphic at the same time. I was quite surprised. And the 
ones I found were definitely mainstream - obviously widely distributed 
(and presumably very popular--for a hentai manga). 

I was so surprised, I asked one of my female Japanese friends if these 
manga were really intended for teenage girls to read. She said 1) that 
they probably were (despite what conservative Japanese people might 
believe about Japanese censorship) and 2) that she thought that the 
Japanese public thought that it wasn't so bad for girls to read explicit 
sex manga as it was for boys, because boys were more easily 
"corruptible". 

Just anecdotal evidence, but really interesting...
