ko: suffex that (from what I understand) stands for "wife".  (I'm 
basing this on the fact that Mamoru always calls Usagi "Usako".)

-ko is actually just a common ending of a girl's name.  Keiko, Reiko,
Makoto, Yukiko, Ritsuko, Seiko, Michiko, Minako... the literal meaning of
the kanji used is 'child'.
