Yes, thank you. :)

My only problem with this is that by sperating the list, there will be people
who may decide they only want to say see ranma works... but others will need
to subscribe to all the lists to get a full spectrum.

Spam will still ensue in all the lists.. except the spam list. Discussions
will happen in ALL the lists regardless, unless you put up a filter on the
email.

We already have a complete list. Why not just keep it as it is and tag the
posted fics as being a [ranma] or [sm] or [whatever]? 

Ideas rarely get generated by isolation and seperation. Ideas come about from
the interaction of various elements and differing minds and concepts. 

The fanfic mailing list is a nice place as it is, to me. I like the diversity
and at times, craziness of it all. I don't mind the high mail count because I
know where it's coming from. If the list were split, I know for sure that I
won't subscribe to all of them.
