The only way this is going to work, methinks, is if it is based on
content. Otherwise you'll either get people posting to *all* the lists,
or else many posts won't reach the people who would be interested in
them. Therefore, if you really want to do this, allow me to make a
counter-proposal. We could have five seperate lists as follows:

1: ranmafic@fanfic.com Fanfiction using Ranma characters and/or set in
the Ranma universe, and discussion directly related to a specific Ranma
fic.

2: smfic@fanfic.com Ditto for Sailor Moon fics.

3: otherfic@fanfic.com Ditto for fics based on all other series, as well
as original fics. (Note: I am singling out Ranma and SM for their own
lists simply because the majority of fics seem to be based on these
series.)

4: discuss@fanfic.com Discussion, but must be related to fanfiction;
things you'd like to see in a future fic, general comments on fanfiction
trends, basically any discussion related to fics in general but not a
particular fic.

5: spam@fanfic.com Discussion not related to fanfiction. (Yes, such a
forum is necessary, or such posts will show up in the other forums.)

Comments?

Hmmm....sounds reasonable, but I don't think it would work. As a saying
goes 'Why fix it when it isn't broken?'. One more thing though, if I am
right. I suppose White Wolf would have to pay to set up this one site which
is currently fanfic@fanfic.com and would have to pay subscriptions(!)
thereafter to keep it on. If this is the case, and I am not sure whether
this current site can be split into separate sublists, but if it can't be
done, wouldn't White Wolf have to pay to set up the 5 sublists? Man, I balk
at the thought the costs would entail.
