Instead of making asplit into approx. 5 lists.
Try this.

Those of us who are only interested in the stories would subscribe to
the main FFML.
Everyone else who is interested in things like c&c and spam and the such
can subscribe to ONE other list instead of a whole bunch.
Granted at least on the users end things could be more customized but
then again that would not reuired extra lists.
Simply setup headers for things like spam, and set up more defined
regular headers.

That way for those of us who have only been interested in Anime for a
limited period of time whoare at least for right now on ly interested in
the stories we can subscribe to the story only.  Any C&C we need to send
can be sent directly to the author and if they deem it necessary to post
it to the C&C list they can.
For everyone else their is th eother list which could be as the list is
now.
If they don't want spam, just make evrything spam contain SPAM in the
subject and a rule can delete it.  C&C should have C&C in the subject
and so on.

I think I have made my point clear.  Please go on to whatever you were
doing before.
