Well here it is, what if Ranma was the Third Child from Evangelion, in
other words, if he went to Tokyo3 to train as an Eva pilot with Rei and
Shinji. I know the timelines don't match, but ignoring such details,
what would every one think. I've only seen through episode 8 of NGE so
that would be the time frame in their timeline I would set it at.

Hmmmmm . . . you mean have Ranma take the place of Asuka? That could be
interesting.

First, have Ryoga wander into Tokyo 3 a month or so ahead of Ranma's
arrival, and have already started a new life of his own, for example,
have him save Rei during her accident instead of Gendo, and have a
relationship start between the two of them. Also he will be employed by
NERV to give the pilots endurance training, not as a pilot.

<thinks that over for a bit> I actually have some trouble seeing Ryouga
giving the Eva pilots 'endurance training.' Then again, *my* Evangelion
knowledge is limited to what I've seen (currently through episode 10).
I can see how Ryouga might be in the right place at the right time
to save Rei, though :)
Do Eva pilots *need* endurance training . . . ?

Since the Eva's are living creatures, couldn't the channel a Ki blast.
Imagine Eva-02 performing some of Ranma's moves.

Makes you wonder just what the AT Fields actually are - all we know is
that the Angels generate them, they protect from just about any attack
(short of an N2 mine (thermonuclear detonation), and even *then* Angels
tend to survive and start regenerating), and that an Evangelion can
generate an AT Field of its own to counteract the field generated by an
Angel.
I'm trying to figure out how an Eva uses ki, though. (Eva Piloting
Course #whatever: "Things We Didn't Know You Could Do With an AT Field")

And one final question, does it have to be water to activate Ranma's
curse? What about THC, and then again, is it warm, or cold?

I think any water-based liquid will do it - and cold triggers, hot
reverses. I don't know if LCL is water-based or not (is that what you were
thinking of, the fluid they fill the entry plug with?)
