In general, you're trying to do something very difficult, because shoujo
and shonen romances tend to be mirror images of each other. Compare the
beautiful, cool, mysterious, and generally unfathomable Madoka and Yuu.
And the plain, klutzy, transparent, and very understandable Miki and
Kyousuke.
The essential differences are the sex of the intended audience and
therefore the different focus on characters: the same sex protagonist
is someone to empathize with, the one of the opposite sex is someone
to ... puzzle over (among many other things).
Hmmm, thinking about it, if I were to write a KOR-shoujo romance crossover,
I'd keep the character setups and change the sexes in the KOR story. In
this one case it could work, because giving the powa to a standard shoujo
protagonist would reasonably allow her to get into trouble like Kyousuke ^_^.
