Well, I guess this is goodbye, at least for now. Tonight I am
departing for parts north and east of here (New York state, to be
specific), and will be without internet access for a time. I may be
able to get an account up there, but if not then I won't return until
late August.
I will not be returning as Stormwalker . . . the pseudonym is no more.
Heretofore I am just me, Douglas Reeves. There are reasons for this,
but I won't bore you with them . . . if you must know, ask.
I hope to have two projects completed upon my return, the first being
"Bubblegum Crisis - Awakenings", and the other, well . . . I'm not
telling just yet. Suffice to say it's not a BGC fic.
Many thanks to those of you who have C&C'd my works, and with whom I
have had dialogue. To those of you who were at A-kon, I particularly
enjoyed your company. Take care, all.

"Well, they are lucky. Let them be
nine-lived and contradictory,
curious enough to change, prepared to pay
the cat price, which is to die
and die again and again,
each time with no less pain.
A cat minority of one
is all that can be counted on
to tell the truth. And what cats have to tell
on each return from hell
is this; that dying is what the living do,
that dying is what the loving do,
and that dead dogs are those who do not know
that dying is what, to live, each has to do."
