In one episode we see Sylia walk into her living room/dining
room/kitchen/bedroom (one big room, and the only room in her apartment we
ever see) from another, unseen room, and she's wearing a towel. Presumably
she's coming from some sort of bathing facility, but as to whether it's a
bathtub, a shower, or a more traditional Japanese bath, who knows?

The only "bathing" facility we ever *do* see is Sylia's rooftop swimming
pool in Crisis 1 and 4.  We also see Sylia's electronically enhanced
steam-room in Crash 1, but since her apartment is being remodelled at the
time, we don't know where that is located. 

Question 2:Did the Stingray family(Katsuhito, Sylia and Mackie) live in
a house or a apartment?

Unknown.  

>From what I know of Tokyo living, and knowing the lab was in walking
distance of the living quarters, I'd guess an apartment.
