I agree with you completely. "Just a Dream" is a must read.

Your post remembered me I was owning some information to this mailinglist
(well, sort of ^_^) about JAD II. The sequel to "Just a Dream" is being
written by Lew Burden, and is already in its seventh or eighth chapter
(and big ^_^).  Unlike the other false start, this time it looks like he
will finish it in one go.

"Still Dreaming" (JAD II) lives up to the original JAD really well, even
if the overall tone of the story changed a bit. It is being sent to
prereaders only, I think.
