A Forlorn Reunion

�Poor Ayeka, you�ve been through a lot.�  Finally back on planet Jurai,
Sasami is standing here with Tenchi.  They come to this place every year

now, where the scenery is beautiful and flowers are always in bloom.
Sasami, a little older and looking more like Tsunami with her pony tails

running down the back, not as they were before when they were off to the

sides.  She is quite a bit taller too, about Tenchi�s height.  Only the
princess� still young voice remains of when she was on Earth quite a few

years ago although it too is beginning to leave her for a more mature,
deeper voice.

When Ryoko attacked us, you lost your fianc�.  Yoshu�s the only one who
really knows the reasons he didn�t come back.  When we found Ryoko
again, all you wanted to do was take revenge on her for taking Yoshu
away from you.  Couldn�t you tell Ryoko was being controlled?  It wasn�t

her that did it, it was Kagato and he�s gone now.  Ryoko is really a
nice woman, you just have to give her a chance.  Even she is here living

here on Jurai now, she�s not a pirate anymore.  She might even live at
the palace with us.

Yosho didn�t want to marry you when you found out who he was because
you two spent too much time apart.  It wasn�t because he didn�t love
you, he was just afraid of being heir to the throne.  Jurai was just not

for him, he was meant to live on Earth.  He comes to visit you every
once in a while, he�s always in tears afterwards.  I can understand why
you�d be so angry at him, but you could have given him a chance at least

once.

I can understand why you�d be angry at me too.  I took away your other
fianc� and another chance for you to be happy.  But you had so many
other suitors to choose from.  Everyone was after your beauty, not
mine.  I didn�t know I was going to become Tsunami then.  I didn�t know
how this was all going to turn out.  You even seemed happy at the time
because Ryoko didn�t win Tenchi�s love.  You didn�t even give a hint
that you were taking it so hard.

You didn�t have put yourself through this Ayeka.  I�m your sister, we
could have talked about it.  Why didn�t you just tell us how you felt?
We could have helped you through it all, you weren�t all alone.  Tenchi
and I are sorry we put you through so much misery, we didn�t mean it at
all.  Please, please forgive us, we didn�t mean to hurt you.

This was all Sasami could say without being choked up with tears.  She
had taken full responsibility for Ayeka�s suicide after finding her
sister on the floor of her bedroom one morning in a pool of blood with a

knife deep in her abdomen.  This was all she could say so she stood up
and left Ayeka�s gravesite crying on the shoulder of the next king of
Jurai.
