I disagree.

That is the thing about rape: It's the kind of thoughtless, violent act
that can transform someone's life into a living nightmare. It's not a
pleasant reality to face, but it happens. More in the US than in Japan I
would think, but it's reality for all too many people. That makes it a
story worth telling. The relatively carefree atmosphere of this story
could be there to show us what was lost.

Or not. I have no idea whether there really was a rape here. But I trust
Mike Noakes to go in whatever direction on this that he feels is
appropriate. (But no Power Rangers in this one, OK, MIke? ^_^)

	Thanks for the vote of confidence.  That last bit was a bit 
ambiguous - I'm still working on it.  I will carry this story in the way 
I feel is best, but it's good knowing there's some support if it does 
happen to be an an unpleasant direction...

can't believe someone remembers that silly story! :)
