(Everyone glares at the Flashman)
Hey stop staring at me. I AM working on TRIO and I will post a new
chapter after I get several of them finished.
However, after hearing about this new challenge issued by Fcasper
(aka Megan 6.7) I decided to throw my hat into the ring. Since,
however, I have choice two as part of TRIO, I've decided to try the
other choice.
Enjoy,
The Flashman
(Let the battle BEGIN)
May The Spirit Preserve You!
THE DEADLY WORLD SHAKING BATTLE
(Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z disclaimers apply)
"My," Vegita cracked at me, "that was certainly impressive. If
Nappa had survived, I'm sure he would have felt the same. Don't you
think so little girl?"
I fell to my knees, unable to cope with what had just happened. The
events of the last few hours running back in my mind....
It had started when the two aliens Nappa and Vegita had landed on
Earth, looking for strong warriors to fight and threatening to
destroy the planet if there were none. Of course, the Sailor Senshi,
that's me and my friends, had answered the challenge but we had been
unprepared for the pure power of Nappa.
We had used everything at our disposal to try and stop the bald Saya-
Jin warrior but to no avail. Finally, Nappa had back fisted me and
sent me sprawling. While I was dazed, the others cirlcled around
Nappa and linked their hands. As they did so they cried, "SAILOR
PLANET ATTACK!"
The energy build up, while not as strong as it would have been if I
had been there to activate it too, was still enough to make Nappa
roar in pain and an involentary release of ki power collided with the
magical energy that formed the Planet Attack.
The mixture had proved to be very explosive.
The explosion leveled several buildings and took Nappa, Mars,
Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury with it. So now, all that remains are
Vegita, a crater that would serve as a memorial for those who had
been lost and me... little old, helpless Sailor Moon.

The Earth girl began to sob as I slowly stalked towards her. My
frown growing wider. My Scouter told me that this being, whos Power
Level had been 250 (not very much, but enough for at least a rousing
five minute battle), had now dropped to 50. Boring.
Suddenly, a rose cut in front of me. A rose? What kind of pathetic
attack was that?!! I looked up to the left and saw a man in some
kind of outfit that these humans wore for special occasions and I
heard him say, "Sailor Moon. Do not surrender to despair! Make this
butcher pay for his murderous actions!"
"Go away pest," I muttered as I threw a weak ki attack at him.
____________________
Tuxedo Kamens words made me look up. I was about to answer when
Vegita muttered something under his breath and throw an energy attack
that was stronger then anything I had ever seen before, at my true
love. He screamed in agony as he was turned into a smoking corpse.
My heart snapped, along with (I'm pretty sure of this) my mind. I
just stood there, not even able to cry. I hadn't even realized that
I had gotten up to my feet. I just stared at Vegita, no words coming
to me as my eyes finally burned with tears. Vegita looked at me and
snarled, "Oh please. I hate opponents who cry on the battle field."
I snapped out of it then, the tears slowly trickling down my face.
I raised a finger and pointed it at him as the Ginzuishou began to
glow and I felt a new level of power awake within me. I answered,
"And... I... hate... YOU!"

The girl pointed at me and I thought, "Oh god! Here's she goes with
another one of those stupid speaches."
However, my Scouter was telling me a different story. Her Power
Level grew beyond its origional 250 and kept rising. 390... 780....
1500... still going. This was going to turn out to be an interesting
fight after all. Then I heard her say, "And... I... hate... YOU!"
I'll admit, I was caught off guard by what happened next. A blazing
white light shot forth and knocked into me. I shouldn't have been
suprised and yet I was. Here, a little, under developed, silly
looking member of an inferior species was about to fight me. ME.
The most powerful High Prince that had ever been. A Saya-Jin warrior
that was unmatched. I tried to stand against the attack and was
mostly successful. I was forced back several steps and looked at
this girl with a raised eyebrow as the light faded. "Not bad," I
taunted, "do you have more?"
"Shut up and die," she snarled at me.
I was suprised for some reason. I guess it was because when I had
first seen her, she hadn't struck me as the angry, vengance driven
type. As the ancient warriors had once preached however, "Even the
most timid of animals can become a raging beast when the time is
darkest."
Oh well, that just made things even more interesting.

I was suprised at what I had just said. I never thought I could
have felt so angry in my life. Even during the final battle against
the Dark Kingdom, as my friends were slaughtered one by one, I had
never felt rage like I had now. Why? I don't know, maybe it was the
off handed way that he delt with it. As if it was a tremendous waste
of time. Even Beryl had treated each death as if they were important
and not as if they were just minor points of interest.
I was at a point that I was an observer to my own actions. I had no
control over what was happening to me and I rushed at Vegita, a roar
of anger escaping my lips. The energy covered me and Vegita leaped
out of the way. I looked up and saw him powering up an energy attack.
I dodged and rolled. The attack struck the street and sent up a
cloud of stones. I drew out one of my scepters and cried, "MOON
SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!!!"
Vegita was chuckling at the name of my attack. I'll admit, it
sounds pretty silly. However, I knew he wouldn't be laughing long.
As the giant heart went at him, I was quickly proven right.

I had underestimated my opponent again. I HATE underestimating an
opponent. It always wastes a few seconds that I could be using to do
something more constructive. The giant heart (I couldn't believe
that it actually was something as stupid as that) came at me and I
just put a hand out to block it. The energy that slammed into me
sent me into the side of a building that was several blocks away. I
crawled out of the rubble that my hole had created. I sneered at the
people that were in the building and said, "I'm a bit busy right now.
So if you leave now, you'll get to live."
Naturally, they quickly complied and soon after that girl, Sailor...
something or other, came in the hole. I was ready for her this time
and blasted her with a ki burst as soon as she was on her feet and
she was sent out of the hole and down, about eight stories, to the
street below. I flew out the hole and was suprised when a blast of
white energy released on the command of "COSMIC MOON POWER!!!"
slammed into me.
It took a bit of doing but I managed to cancle it out and looked
down to see the little wench still lying on her back. Somehow, she
had survived the fall and waited for me to come out. My Scouter now
placed her Power Level at 60,000. There was no more need to be nice.
________________
I was shocked that he had cancled out the Cosmic Moon attack but it
had obviously hurt him a little. I had to try again but before I
could, he was suddenly right on top of me and I had to roll to avoid
him planting a fist into (and if it had connected, probably right
THROUGH) my stomach. I stood and jumped into the air. Vegita was a
blur as he was suddenly behind me and he kicked me back down to earth.
I landed hard and actually went right through the street into the
subway station. The people in the station paniced as Sailor Moon the
Human Missle came down among them. Vegita quickly followed me down
the hole I had created and said, "Hmph. This is better then I
expected."
"Let's see how you like this," I answered in a voice that sounded a
lot like his as I removed my broach and aimed it at him, "COSMIC MOON
POWER!"
The energy shot forth from the Ginzuishou and smashed into him. He
let out a sound like a wounded animal and slowly tried to force his
way through the beam. I jumped over him at the last second and
although it didn't even faze him, I kicked him on the top of the head
on the way over. I landed behind him and was about to blast him
again, when his belt suddenly uncoiled from around his waist and
slapped me into the subway tunnel.

That was the best part of any real battle I took part in. When they
looked up at you and realized that you had a tail. Heh, this girl
was no exception as her eyes popped out of her head and she seemed to
be at a loss for words. "Suprise," I said in my nastiest voice.
"A..." she whispered, yet the echo in the tunnels carried the sound
to my ears, "...a tail?"
"Of course. What did you think it was? A belt? Ha. I'd never
wear a belt that tacky looking."
"Instead, you have a tail that's tacky looking."
"Grrrr. DIE!!!"
I know I probably let my temper get the better of me but nobody EVER
insults a Saya-Jins tail and gets away with it. I fired another ki
burst at her, stronger this time, yet she managed to dodge it. I
fired several more and she kept dodging. Finally, she leaped up and
over me again and grabbed me by the tail.

I knew that we couldn't keep the battle here. I had to somehow take
it to a place where innocent people wouldn't be hurt. "Please
Ginzuishou," I whispered to myself, "take us somewhere no one else
can be hurt."
I was dioriented as the white light spread over us both and the next
thing I knew, I was getting up off the ground somewhere. It was cold
and yet the ground was sandy. The stars winked at me, so it was
night... or so I thought. When the suns light seemed unusually blue
I turned and looked right at the Earth. Then I relized... I was on
the moon! I heard a roar of rage and saw a fighting aura rise into
the sky. I knew without a doubt that Vegita was here and he was
quite upset.
________________________________
I had felt that sense of disorientation before. The damn witch had
teleported up somewhere. Probably to a place where non combatants
could be spared from the battle. Pathetic gesture. Why were some
species so concerned about what happened to their other members?
Then, I looked up at the sky and I saw the blue planet that I had
landed on in front of me. I yelled, "WHERE THE HELL AM I?! HOW THE
HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO GO ANYWHERE?! MY SPACE SHIP IS STILL ON THAT
MUD BALL! ARRRRGH!!!"
"You are on the moon," someone behind me said. I had been so
wrapped up in my anger I hadn't noticed anyone comming.
I turned and saw her. That... that... GIRL! It was her fault for
stranding me on that worthless piece of rock and I was going to make
her pay! When I said words similar to that she replied, "This 'piece
of rock' is my ancestrial home! No one will insult it! Not even
you!"
I shot back, "NO ONE DOES THIS TO ME!!! I AM THE PRINCE OF THE SAYA-
JINS!!!!"
"Prince of the Saya-jin," she replied, "meet the Princess of the
Kingdom of Moon."
I snapped. This girl, royalty or not, dared to think she was an
EQUAL! I was going to prove her wrong. "The moon is just a life
less mass filled with craters. Soon... ITS PRINCESS WILL BE TOO!"
I charged her as fast as possible. I quickly learned that she was
good with energy attacks but physical attacks were something she knew
next to nothing about. I smashed her face in with a single punch. I
shattered her rib cage with another. I pulped her stomach with a
single kick. She fell to the ground and yet she still atempted to
raise her crystal for another strike. I grabbed her hand and
promptly squeezed, breaking every single bone in it. I took the
crystal and said, "This seems to be the source of your power. Let's
see what happens when you are denied it."
With that, I crushed the crystal in my hands.
________________
I was near death. I knew that, when I had raised the crystal, it
had been in the hope that I could at least take Vegita with me.
However, he crushed my hand and then took the crystal. I was too out
of it to hear what he said. All I knew, was that when my vision
focused, I saw him crush the Ginzuishou.
It felt as if what little strength that was left in my body had been
ripped out of me. It was like suffering several heart attacks at
once and then suffering several more a second later.
Then.... then... I died.
________________
I just stood there, basking in the after glow of the kill. I looked
at the dust in my hand that had once been the crystal. I walked over
to where the girl lay dead and sprinkled the dust over her. Fitting,
her shattered body and her shattered crystal would lay on this
shattered rock forever.
I turned to go when my Scouter suddenly went nuts. It started to
read a Power Level of 500,000... 600,000... *900,000*! Where was it
coming from? The Scouter said it was... behind me!
I turned, unable to believe what was happening. The girl was
glowing, the dust from her crystal floating around her and
unbelievably, I could see the wounds I had inflicted on her were
actually healing themelves. She was raised into the air and her out
fit changed from a ridiculous Sailor suit to a long, flowing white
princess's dress. A mark of a creasent moon appeared on her forehead.
The dust suddenly bunched together in front of her and in a
blinding flash, reformed into that blasted crystal.
Her eyes snapped open and I knew this battle was not over yet.
____________
I was alive again. The Ginzuishou had, once again, somehow
resurected me. I was my heritage again. No longer, Usagi or Sailor
Moon. I was Princess Serenity and while Serenity was best know for
her kindness and great forgivfulness, there were somethings she... no,
*I* could not forgive.
I saw the look of disbelief on Vegitas face and I couldn't completly
hide a smile. Finally, I had something to really shock the bastard.
(Yes, I was mad enough to curse.) I glared at him and said, "You no
longer fight Sailor Moon. You must now contend with Princess
Serenity."
Vegita glared at me and replied in a snarl, "Very well," he aimed
his right hand at me and cried, "BIG BANG BLASTER!"
I readied the Ginzuishou and commanded, "COSMIC MOON POWER!"
The two beams met and fought with each other for dominance. I felt
my power draining as the battle of energy wore on. I chanced a look
and saw that Vegita was also tiring but I would be depleated before
he was, somehow, instinctivly, I knew this. "Please," I called out
with my soul, "if you can hear me. Help me my friends."
I felt the familiar presences around me. My friends precenses, as
they prepared to add their power to my own.
"MERCURY POWER!"
"VENUS POWER!"
"MARS POWER!"
"JUPITER POWER!"
"COSMIC MOON POWER!"
Vegita was suprised at the energy ball that was forming around me,
his attack unable to penetrate it.
As I was about to release it and give my life for my planet again, I
felt the familiar presense of Edymion and I heard him say, "Not this
time my Princess."
His power suddenly joined the others and his also dirrected the
attack so that it came out instead as a beam of power instead of a
ball of energy. In other words, I was not taken with my attack this
time.
Vegita screamed as the power overwhelmed him. "NOOOOOOOOO," he
roared as he tried to fight against it.
He failed and was thrown off of the moon and sent spiraling off into
the darkness of deep space. I fell to my knees and cried. I was
alone.
"You are never alone," I heard Venus's voice say to me.
"We will always be with you," Mercury added.
"In other words..." Jupiter began.
"...you can't get rid of us," Mars finished jokingly.
Despite myself, I chuckled at that little bit of after life humor.
"I'll miss you all," I finally said.
"Oh don't worry about us," Jupiter said, "the after life isn't so
bad. I just met this REALLY good looking guy named Goku and he looks
just like my old boyfriend."
The others groaned and I heard Mars say, "Look we gotta go now Usagi.
This Kaioh guy is getting a bit ticked that we're 'taking advantage
of his kindness' like this."
"I understand," I replied, "I'll see you again someday."
I heard talking and then Mars said, "Hold it, someone wants to say
something."
I heard his voice then, "Hello Usako.
"Mamo-chan..."
"I don't have much time, Kaioh is glaring at me. I just want to say,
stay happy... and I'll be waiting for you on the other side."
"Goodbye," I whispered.
Their presence faded and I was alone. I looked up at the planet
Earth and despite my tears, I smiled. This day was tragic, but
thankfuly there would be others, so that this day would be remembered.
Although its details would fade, I knew I would never truely forget
this day. It was the day I truely grew up. I just wish it hadn't
come at such a horrible price.
_____________________________
I was in agony. Every bone, broken. Every muscle, torn. Every
inch of my skin burned or cut. The worst part however, was that it
would never end! I was trapped inbetween galaxies. Having no way to
fly, I would be trapped in this battered body and in this empty void
forever!
I roared my rage, even though I or anybody else would never hear it.
THE END
