Oh yeah, well, I think Macross is a much more realistic mecha, when I
realized that Evangelions are about the size of godzilla... Which comes to
mind, has anyone written a Godzilla vs. Evangelion fic?

In the Eva movies Evangelion: Death and Rebirth, and The End of Evangelion,
Eva-06 through Eva-13 do fly and have their own power source.  The end
result would be one crushed Valkyrie.
