Hiya,
I was working on TRIO when I came across a problem.
I need to know, what is the Japanese Translation for "Final Devil
Killing Shot"?
(Looks at Tybalt) Hmmm. That may not be appropriate as a stand alone
message for the FFML, so I'll also add part three of "Endworld: Moon
Run" so the administrator doesn't get mad at me.
The Flashman
(Warning: This chapter is an exception but this story has scenes of
EXTREME violence.)

Chapter 2: A Rude Awakening

"Well," Blade asked his wife, the Healer Jenny, "how are they?"
He had stored away his Commando but still had his Bowie knives
strapped to his waist.
Jenny wiped a strand of her long blond hair absently as she looked
up from her patient, the bun headed girl, and replied, "Nothing a
little rest won't cure. They're suffering from extreme exhaustion."
"Be that as it may," an old man standing behind them said, "We still
don't know who they are and how they got in that condition."
Blade turned towards the old man and said, his voice filled with
respect, "We won't know until they wake up Plato."
Plato nodded and turned back to look at the little girl, stroking
his long grey beard absently, his thoughts turning inward, "So who
are you little girl? What happened to you? Where do you come from?
How did you get in this condition?"
Plato was an old man in his early 50's with long straight grey hair,
a flowing grey beard, wearing an old yellow shirt and brown pants
with leather patches on both knees. He was in the cabin because as
Leader, it was his responsibility to greet these people if they were
friendly.
Jenny reached for the tiara on the girls forehead and said, "I think
she would rest more comfortably without this on."
Jenny removed the tiara and gasped in shock at what she saw
underneath. Blade was instantly by her side and he asked concerned,
"What's wrong?"
All three of them looked at the girls forehead and were surprised to
find a golden crescent moon marking. Jenny cautiously reached out to
touch it and ran her hand over it. "Well," she said, "It's part of
her skin whatever it is."
"Blade," Plato asked, "You've seen people outside the Home with
things like that haven't you?"
Blade nodded and replied, "Something similar to that yes. They're
called tattoos, but I've never seen one like that before."
All further speculation was cut off as the girl they had been
watching over started to come to.....
"Ugh," Usagi thought to herself as she groaned, "Would somebody
please tell Gojira to stop jumping up and down on my head now?"
Her eyes were still closed and she had a large headache but
otherwise felt fine. She could feel the sheets over her and the soft
bed under her. She thought about where she could be and examined her
options. Best case scenario, she was at home in bed and the day had
been a dream. Worst case scenario, she was in a hospital coming out
of a coma. The last thing she expected to see when she opened her
eyes was an old man smiling down at her and saying something in a
language she didn't understand. So, she reacted as she normally did
in a strange situation. She screamed in total terror.
Plato approached the girl as her eyes opened and smiled at her as he
said, "Well, you've probably had an exciting day."
Blade saw the girls bright blue eyes go wide and he grasped what was
going to happen next, a second before it did. The girl opened her
mouth and let out a shriek so loud that all three Family members had
to cover their ears. Hickok came racing in with his Pythons drawn,
looking for the problem.
Usagi saw the man with the pistols come racing in and she panicked
as she thought, "Oh god! He's gonna shoot me! What about my friends?
What about ME?!?"
The girl started to cry so loud that all four of them had to clamp
their hands over their ears to preserve their hearing. Hickok
started to approach saying, "Now hold on little missy. I......"
That was all he could get out before he was knocked silly.
Usagi reacted instinctively as the man with the pistols approached
and as her cresent moon mark glowed brighter, reacting to her fear,
she pulled out her scepter from its subspace pocket and clubbed him
over the head with it. He dropped his guns and staggered backwards.
Blade grabbed hold of Hickoks arm and pulled him out the door, with
Jenny and Plato close behind. "Hickok," he asked, "You okay?"
Hickok just staggered around and Blade thought, "Forget it. All he
can probably hear at this time is little birds chirping."
"What happened to Hickok?" Geronimo asked as he ran over, "I mean,
I know he's always been a little dizzy, but this is different."
"One of our guests woke up and we startled her," Jenny explained,
"Then Mr. Mocho," she jerked a thumb at Hickok who was now shaking
his head, "comes in with both guns drawn and the girl hit him over
the head."
"Which one? The big, tall one?"
"No. The one with the..." Jenny put her two fists to the top of her
head to illustrate the girls identity.
Geronimo was now trying to hold back laughter. His shoulders shook
and he was barely able to say in between his chuckles, "You mean (Hee,
Hee) the 'Great and Mighty' Hickok (Tee Hee) was (Ha) defeated by a
little kid?"
"I heard that," Hickok groaned, "and you wouldn't be laughin' if she
had clunked you on the noggin," Hickok rubbed his head, "That SMARTS.
"
"Okay," Blade said, "Who wants to go back in their and try to calm
her down?"
"I'll go," Jenny said, "No offence, but you don't exactly look
friendly, and thanks to this boob," she elbowed Hickok in the side,
"I don't think she's going to trust any Warrior now."
Blade nodded and replied, "Okay, but be careful. I don't want you
getting hurt."
Jenny cautiously made her way back inside and looked at the girl.
The girl had made her way to her blue haired companion and looked
down with tears in her eyes and when Jenny started to approach, she
whipped around holding the weapon she had used on Hickok in a ready
position. Jenny stopped and smiled at the girl with her hand raised
in a peaceful gesture. She said, "It's all right, I'm not going to
hurt you."
"Besides," she thought to herself, "I doubt I could if I wanted to.
She looks pretty tough."
The girl looked at her in confusion and then looked at the forms on
the other beds before saying something in a language Jenny didn't
understand.
Usagi had walked over to Ami as soon as the strangers had left, to
see if she was all right. She seemed fine, but what about the rest
of them? At that moment, the woman who had been with the group
before walked back in. Usagi faced her, preparing to use her scepter
if need be. The woman put her hands up in a peaceful gesture and
smiled at her warmly before saying something Usagi didn't understand.
She looked back at her friends before asking, "Are they going to be
okay?"
The woman looked at her funny and said something else she didn't
understand, but helped her start to recognize the language. "I've
heard that language before," she thought to herself, "It's English,
but I stink at English. Wait a minute, didn't I get something
earlier to help with that. So much happened today it's hard to
remember. Wait! My tiara, that's it! This woman has it, I'll have
to find some way to make her give it back."
Jenny watched the girl as she told her that she hadn't understood a
word she had said. Then the girl pointed to her right hand. Jenny
looked and saw that she still had the tiara clutched in her fist. In
all the excitement she had forgotten about it. She held out the
tiara and asked, "Do you want this back?"
The girls face broke into a wide smile as she grabbed the tiara and
placed it on her head. Then she said to Jenny, "Thank you."
"So," Jenny replied, "you can speak English?"
"Not a word of it."
"But I can understand you."
"It's a bit hard to explain, my friends would be able to do it
better than me. By the way, my name's Usagi."
Usagi clamped her hand over her mouth after those last three words.
"Oh great," she thought, "There goes my secret identity. I must be
more tired than I thought."
"What's wrong?" Jenny asked in concern.
"Oh well," Usagi reflected, "Too late now." Then aloud she said,
"Oh nothing. How are my friends?"
"They're fine. They just need to rest some more. You should get
some more rest too."
Usagi hadn't realized until that point, as the adrenaline from her
initial awakening wore off, just how tired she was. Still, even as
she yawned, she said, "No. I want to stay awake for when my friends
wake up."
"That might not be for a while yet," Jenny replied as she gently led
Usagi back to her bed, "it would be better if you rested some more.
You'll be safe here. The Warriors will protect you and your friends.
"
"Who are the Warriors???" Usagi asked as she crawled back under the
covers.
"Uhh... you know that guy you hit before?"
"Yeah."
"He's one of them."
Usagi sarcasticly replied, "I like them already," and she promptly
fell back into unconsciousness.
A few hours later.....
Blade, Plato and Jenny walked back into the cabin as they heard the
sound of more groaning. Signaling that another guest was waking up.
Understandably, Hickok didn't mind waiting outside. The three of
them looked and saw that this time it was the blue haired one who was
sitting up. "Uh.. hello," Plato said nervously, still remembering
Usagis initial reaction, "Don't be frightened. We won't hurt you.
My name is Plato. I welcome you to the Home."
The girl looked up and said, "My name is..."
Ami then debated whether she should use her real name or her Super
Heroine one. "...Sailor Mercury," she decided on.
"Uhh," Blade awkwardly asked, "Your not going to slug anybody are
you?"
"No," Mercury responded, "Why?"
"I just want to know if I can bring in Hickok without him getting
hit on the head again."
"Again?"
Blade then went on to explain the story of Usagis awakening.
Mercury noticed that they used the name Usagi. "About my name," Ami
said in between chuckles, "you can use my real one. It's Ami."
"Real name?" Plato asked in confusion, "Why would you need another
one?"
Ami was about to ask why they would ask a silly question like that
when she was suddenly grabbed in a bear hug, and she heard Usagis
voice exclaim, "Oh Ami. I was so worried. Your okay."
"Yes," Ami replied as her face started turning as blue as her hair,
"but I will not be if this oxygen depravation continues for much
longer."
Usagi understood the basics of what Ami had said and loosened, but
refused to relinquish, her hold on her friend. She looked at Amis
face with tears of joy forming in her eyes. Then all the people in
the room turned as they heard several more groans from the others.
Makoto was the next to awaken and she saw her two friends first but
when she saw the Warriors she almost went on the attack. She was
calmed down by her friends and she also was fascinated by the
strapping Warrior Blade. Next came Minako who easily accepted what
was happening. (Or at least she accepted it easier then the others
had.) Rei was the last of the woman to wake up and Usagi quickly
quipped as she came to, "And you call ME the lazy one?"
The two cats who had been curled on the floor woke up, stretched out,
and Blade finally noticed that the cats had the same mark on their
heads that Usagi had. "I wonder what the significance of that is?"
he thought to himself before adding, "Unless it's just a coincidence,
which I doubt."
After all introductions were made, the Sailors were still left with
a lot of questions. "Wait a minute," Rei said, "I'm still confused.
We're in a place called the Home? Where in Japan are we?"
All of the Family members in the room suddenly had strange looks on
their faces as Plato asked, "Did you say Japan?"
"Yes."
"Then you are a LONG way from home. You see this is Minnesota, in
the U.S.A."
