It would be SOun not Genma who tried to force Nabiki.  Genma may lend 
Soun moral support but he doesn't try and force any of the Tendo girls to 
do anything.

And I don't really see Nabiki making such an argument, she'd just 
refuse.  Although she might follow up the refusal with an observation.

After all, Ranma turns into a girl. 

See.  There's no fooling NAbiki. ;-)

If the issue is forced, would Ranma go through with the marriage?

Depends a lot on the circumstances.  He might, but only after he's spent 
a *LOT* of time trying to find a cure and failing (see quest reference 
earlier).  If pressure for the new male-Akane/female-Ranma marriage is 
brought to bear too soon, they would both refuse.

I also think the real question should include would Akane go through with 
it?  Does the male Akane want a half-male wife?  ANd can Akane make 
herself accept Ranma's offer (assuming it is made) particularly since 
she, sorry he, knows that Ranma *HATES* being stuck as a girl.  Akane 
would assume that Ranma is offering out of pity and/or duty and would 
have to be convinced otherwise before he would even consider the offer 
seriously.

Second, if it becomes ovivous that Ukyo can't marry Ranma, would she accept
adoption into the Saotome family?

Hmmm... I don't think so.  Ukyou is *ONLY* interested in marrying Ranma, 
what does being adopted give her that she would want?  And as far as is 
shown in the Anime/Manga she can go back to her own family, it was her 
own drive for vengeance that led her to leave.

Particularly in the above circumstances, Ukyou would probably keep 
herself available for a few years and hope Akane and Ranma broke up.  
Once it became obvious that Ranma and Akane were a definite couple (NOT a 
given in this circumstance) then she might start moving on with her life.
