Just when we all thought we were safe from the madness of the Frank 
Herbert novels and ensuing LONG movie...

(Incidentally, several months ago I *did* have an idea for a 
Ranma/Dune crossover, but it wasn't a fusion...rather, Ryouga somehow 
wound up on Arrakis and came back so spiced up it was scary. But I 
dropped it in favor of a Ranma/Short Circuit crossover, which got 
shelved in favor of everything else.)
