Oft-explored territory, that of the spirit of the drowned girl
overwhelming Ranma. I will say this is one of the better
implementations of it. Better than my clumsy "Cursed" ("Pools of
Horror" expanded on the idea a lot better.) Certainly better than "Her"
or that spin-off of Kun-chan's fanfics.
Liked the multiple flashback technique. Skillfully done.
Still, it didn't grab me, only because the concept's been done so many
times that yet another fanfic on the subject must be absolutely
outstanding to really get to me. That can be said about lots of other
things; anything that can be written about Ranma 1/2 already has been
written by somebody. Certainly this is not the author's fault.
I'd like to see her try another story, on a more original topic. I'd
bet she'd do a great job.
