Ranma should be Ran Solo, and Ryoga should be Ryoga Lostwalker.  That way,
Akane ends up with Ranma.

Is true.  Particularly when you consider who harbored the hopeless
instant infatuation without a hint of sexual tension, and who had the
adversarial relationship.
But the space pilot who always gets lost, and the desert dwelling boy
who "changes" for the first time when he encounters enough water to get
wet for the first time have a certain appeal.  And Kuno as the painfully
deluded Jedi Knight defending the Empire on behalf of the Light Side of
the Force was a stroke of brilliance.

Yes, definately.  Which is why I enjoyed the fic in spite of Akane
ending up with Ryoga.  Which says a lot for Blade and Epsilon's writing
talent, IMO.  ^_^
