mail order folks are selling nothing but internal modems these days. Or
external ones that are 56K linekillers that won't work on my old voice

very sorry.

Well, I've got a US Robotics 14.4 that I'm not using. I'll GIVE it to
you if you pay for the shipping. Cables included. the problem is that I
live in British Columbia, CANADA. I'm not sure where you live, but you
can expect the thing to take anywhere from two weeks to a month to reach
you. Sorry ;p
