Nice idea.. I'd rather like to see it written. (no time myself w/jobhunt)
I especially like the idea of looking at some things from the Predator's
POV.

I don't have time to write this, since I just started another fanfic.
So if anyone wants to use this, and has enough courage to kill off a few
characters, feel free to steal this. If not, I may write it later:
The hunter looked over his scanner. Why was this one area sending
such a strong signal this year? What could possibly be happening on the
island? He grinned to himself in anticipation of the hunt.
In all the years the hunters had come to this planet, only two had
ever died. Yes, the game was dangerous here, but only recently had they
been able to really have a chance against the hunters. Only recently
had hunters been lost. This hunt was going to be one of the most
dangerous ever.
Th hunter lovingly fingered the polished skulls of other specimens
he had collected over the years; the bounty of a hundred worlds, and a
collection to make even the most experienced and famous hunters jealous.
The only specimens he was missing were the ones from this little world.
The ones that had made a name for themselves lately by killing two
hunters.
The hunter entered the drop pod, and disengaged from the mother
ship. The huge bluish white sphere of the world he was landing on
filled his field of view. Soon, he could see the heat shields glowing
red with the friction of his entry into the atmosphere. He deftly
manipulated the drop pod, aiming for the tiny island, nestled up against
the huge continental body. Once again, a Predator was going to stalk
the Earth.
"What was that?"
"Nothing, you're imagining things," said Ranma as he casually kicked
a rock in his path.
"Don't be stupid, Ranma, I saw something in the sky!" answered Akane
in a very annoyed voice. "It looked like a meteor, but it seemed so
close! I can almost believe it landed here in Nerima."
"Must be a sign," Ranma replied sarcastically. "The end of the world
is near. I guess we'll have to finally get married."
"Why would that be the end of the world?"
"That depends on if you're going to be cooking after we get hitched.
If you do, my world will end real quick. The first thing I'll have to
do after we're married is try and convince Kasumi to stay around and
cook for us still."
Akane's eyes glowed with anger. "The first thing that I'll do when
we're married is take your stupid father to the zoo, and then put a lock
on your bedroom door, so I won't have to see either of you two idiot
Saotomes anymore!"
Ranma mustered all of his wit to answer her insult. "Well,...Oh
Yeah?"
As the young couple continued walking through the night, they forgot
all about the light that Akane had seen. They didn't see the sudden
movement in the trees around them, the strange distortion as if they
were looking through some kind of humanoid lens. And they never noticed
the feeling of being watched...
Anyway, that's my idea. If nobosy else wants it, maybe I'll write it
later.
