Well, after listening to one of the CD's, its scary, I'm actually
beginning to _like_ that song.  Its scary...very scary...

first of all, I'll say it loud and proud right now:
I like the damn song :P

second, exactly _how_many_ versions of it have been made for Evangelion? 
Got like 10+ on my CDs, and the two catchiest are the first one sung by
that lady from britian, and the 7 minute techno version.  Yes, that one. 

The other ones.... eeh... what can I say.... it kinda hurts the song to
hear English jagged in certain spots ('in other wArds', 'play amOOOng the
stars', etc etc etc)

Third, the very first EVA version of it is VERY VERY VERY good, compared
to what went on before it.  Hey people, ever heard Tom Jones circa 1970's
sing it?  Eh?

stars o/"

Or Frank Sinatra in some bizzare duet with some latin guy singing it? 

o/" oh yeah fly me to da moon (baby) an'let me play amongst

There's far worse versions out there than the girls of EVA.
