Sorry for the long subject.  One (fairly) simple solution is to set
up an
email address and person to track author/story lists.  (I realize
that
this is, in and of itself, a hellishly large task.)  Perhaps the
same said
person can only track fics by month, and put up a year/month list
of
released stories and authors on a webpage? (i.e. If you want to
find a
story done in June, 1996, you can go there, or perhaps search by
author). 

	Well.. you know, Mark Doherty has this REALLY nifty WEELY SYNOPSYS
thing, and well.. if EVERYONE were to use it, there would be a
growing list of Fanfics, Genre, Type, Author, and short commentaries.

	I don't know if its in there, but perhaps this should be in the FAQ
for the list.  Make it SEEM to be required...

	Just MY opinion, I could be wrong.
