That's a pretty harsh thing to propose against people who volunteer 
their
spare time to work to keep the raac group clear of spam.

I'd rather have the spam and be able to post my stories, frankly.  His 
point was a good one, that even if they are volunteers and all that, it 
is only good in theory, and when it doesn't work, it's not a good idea 
anymore.


I counterpropose that you set up your -own- archive, announce that to 
the
unmoderated group, and use that as a platform to air your grievances. 
Your
stories will be generally available, your complaint will be heard, and 
the
non-fic-reading raafers will not have tons of off-topic posts dumped on 
them.


That seems like the best idea; try and create an unmoderated group that 
we could post to.  I haven't heard anything from my (first) post to the 
group either, and it's been several weeks.  I could delete all the spam 
really easily, and I'd rather do that than have to wait so dang long.
