Hmmm. An interesting variation on the Reunion format, presuably with each
main character having a present-day scene followed by a flashback. The
story was well-told and entertaining, with nice flashes of character
insight without angst.
Thanks!
Rather liked the fact that Kuno, a fool who rushes in if ever there was
one, is the only person in recent memory to leave Jusenkyo without a
curse.
The restaurant scene was amusing, and one wonders why Ranma (or the
authors writing him) have never thought of that particular way to remove
Kuno while at the same time making it a means toward ending the curse. As
Nabiki laments in an upcoming work, "If only that vast and mighty
stupidity could be directed towards a _useful_ goal...."
Heh. Of course that would never work in *canonical* Ranma 1/2 even if
they did think of it -- something would go wrong. You can't change the
status quo in a Takahashi universe until it's ready to be changed. It
can work in fanfics like ours, of course.
I'm afraid I can't see Nodoka developing such an interest in the
details of Mrs. Kuno... the train of thought that leads her to this seems
a bit shaky and contrived, at least compared to the rest of the story.
You've a point. I'll see if I can think of any way to make it more
natural.
Overall, an intriguing first chapter. I'll be looking forward to
reading the next installments.
Thanks! I'll try not to disappoint.
