I like, no LOVE, this idea. I can see it now.
Nephlite held the bleeding body of the only person that he ever cared for in
his whole life. The attack that was meant for him had hit her instead. Seeing
that she/he had missed, Zoicite merely laughed at her/his simple mistake and
vowed to correct it. Zoicite never got the chance.
Placing the now dead body on the ground, he looked at her face. Her beautfful
face. His eyes filled with tears, he whispered silently. "Molly...I'm so
sorry...please forigve me..." Looking up, his eyes switched from emotional
agony, to pure, uncontrollable hatred for the monster in front of him.
Then, faster than Zoicite could see, he vanished in a whisk of wind. Only to
have him reappear right in front of Zoicite, cock his fist back, throw it
forward, pierce Zoicites chest, and tear through the other side. His eyes
still clouded with tears, looked up at Zoicite's shocked face.
Pulling his hand out, he saw his arm covered with the Zoicite's blood. He
then looked to his left to see the Scouts, with faces filled with shock and
horror at seeing their friend killed and his act of violence against his
ally. He ignored them and looked back down to Zoicite, who was now dying. No,
she/he was NOT going to die without paying for taking the only person that
meant anything to him! He grabbed Zoicite's ankles, turned, and with plenty
of momentum, slammed his foe into a tree.
Seeing that nothing more could be done, he returned to Molly's side. Praying,
hoping that she was still alive. Yet, it was no good. Leaning against a tree
trunk, he set his face on his knees and let the tear run free. She was gone.
It was all his fault. If only he stopped her from taking the blow, she would
still be alive and he would get his rightful punishment. He was the bad guy,
he deserved to die. She was innocent, and had no right!
The scouts saw their friend and figured out what had happened. They wanted to
say something, but could not find the words.
That's all I can think of at this moment, anyone else want to continue for
me?
I don't know about you, but this already seems like a fanfic in itself. There
are a lotta things to explore, like the funeral, and how their lives were
effected, but that's a bout it.
