Try as I may, I can't seem to ever produce anything as

Me too! I can't get but about five people who even give enough of a care
to even help me edit my works, much less give tips or hints or somesuch.
We have a group that meets on IRC on Sunday evenings and discusses and
reviews fics. anime.terratron.com, channel #fanfic. The fic discussion
starts around 6:30 PM EDT, with general discussion preceeding it. If you
join us, you'll be able to submit your fics (or outlines, or ideas, or
whatever) into the queue.
If your ISP won't let you access IRC, you can participate by sending in
comments by E-mail. Be aware that this is a cooperative enterprise; you
will be required to read and discuss at least some of the other fics if
you want yours discussed.
Questions? E-mail me <kleppe@execpc.com>, Colliding SYmphonies
<ryougaecho@abraxis.com>, or Damon Casale <damoo@universal-net.com>.
