Have writers of non-Ranma fics been thrown into dungeons? Had their
knees broken? Had their net access cancelled? I'd really like to know.

WHOA! Are you trying to tell me that all those mysterious fanfic writer
disappearances ARE NOT due to writers leaving in frustration from a total
lack of response! My GOD! Is there a group of Anime Fanfic Hit-men/women
who constantly pole the list for lousy fics, and then visit those writers,
making sure they never write again? How does one join this hit group?

Perhaps not people, but I recall (even if I did only join a week ago)
a lil project group by the name of "Revengefics" (BTW, yes, Alpha, or
Prime, or whatever you prefer to be called, I did think it was dead
and buried. I'm glad I was wrong :) BTW again, could you use another
author who hasn't written any fanfics yet (mostly due to lack of
ideas) but has been able to think himself into Fred and come up
with a bio?)

This all makes me wonder. In ten years, will Ranma still be the 'hip' thing
to write? That is, if the FFML is still around in ten years. Hmmm... And if
not Ranma? What will?
Maybe instead of fanfics, there will be fan-films. Yea! Instead of just
writing fics, they'll act them out and tape 'em. And by then, the Internet
bandwidth will have improved enough to actually send stuff like that over
the net. Of course, ten years from now, Anime will have engulfed the world.
Nothing will be free of it's grasp. Or is it that way already?

Hmm.. Anime across the world in ten years.. a nice thought, but
unfourtunatly I see rough times ahead for anime. (a lil prophecy of
mine.. I'm known to sometimes be a prophet of doom)
