Has anybody considered that their might be TWO of these springs? One that
Ranma and the monkey fell into, and one that Herb fell into? This would
explain everything. And I'm sure more than one female has fallen and
'drowned' at Jusenkyo, besides Akane of course. :)

Hmmm.... Good theory, but Herb threw the monkey into one spring, and 
then the monkey threw Herb into the _same_ spring.  Of course, I really 
don't know where people get the idea that the monkey's cursed form looks 
anything like Ranma.  But that is just my opinion.
