I wasn't going to say anything but reading Ed's letter brought up a
couple of almost forgotten points. Twister was complaining about being
fooled AND that he was almost involved in a couple of schemes which
could have gotten him into trouble. If I understood his letter
correctly.

The other is that Ed is right. We as a group dedicated to fan fiction
should judge Hitomi Or Chris or whatever her name is by her work which
is very good. Clothes make the and her alternative histories were all
quite good not totally original but she wasn't the only person to use
others ideas creatively. She did apparently go to far in her personal
life. That has little bearing on her writing. If Hitomi were to show up
on the list tomorrow, I would read her stuff the same as anybody
else's. If she showed up in RL that would be different.

I disagree about the relative writing abilities between what i have
read of her work and Ed's though. I like Ed's better. IMHO.

Ed and everybody else think about this: "The Internet is the first
true meeting of minds, where you don't judge anyone by their Race or
Religion or anything about their bodies at all. Because all you can see
is their minds". A quote from G. Gordon Liddy on the Internet, spoken
on his show a few months ago.

Lastly ; I judge people on the mailing list by what I see of what they
say. By how friendly or nasty they are. do they help each other or are
they nasty. Everytime I have asked for help on this list I have gotten
it, on one occasion by Hitomi. In my opinion this list should be very
proud of itself. if the rest of the world could do as well, well it
would be a better world!
Sorry if I am talking too much, but this is something i feel strongly
about!
