was princess diana a member of the ffml? i mean, the hitomi threat is
spam, sure, but it's ffml-related spam. it's our goddamned spam, and i for
one, am goddamned proud of it!

i'm sure i'll offend someone, or probably a lot of someones with this, but
frankly, i don't really care about princess diana (although now that it's
a day later and still all over the news it reminds me of the snl bit about
franco). i read hitomi's fic. i have occassionally considered asking her
for advice (but didn't for various reasons). i have never, on the other
hand, had any contact with princess di in any way at all. a survey of the
ffml would probably reveal that many of us either conversed with, or at
least read hitomi's fic, but never conversed with, or read anything by
princess di. but because she's a _famous english princess_, well that
makes her demise better and more significant than the overturning of one
of the better known personalities around here.

i don't really care about hitomi being someone else (like others, i was
aware that the chances of that being a real name around here were pretty
poor. for the two people left who haven't found out by now, hitomi's name
is the name of the main character of _hitomi and her girl commandoes_, an
anarctic press comic related to _ninja high school_. whew!). but it _is_
nifty to watch other people's reactions to this.

then again, the admins have officially told us to shut the hell up, so
i'll go away now.
