Because Akari is too much like Kasumi in many aspects, and wouldn't, IMO,
be able to cope with Ryoga's 'dark side,' so to speak.  Ukyou, OTOH, would
be able to, and Ryoga would likewise be able to help Ukyou out whenever
she's depressed/angry.  Akari is simply too weak of a person to be a good
pair-off for Ryoga.

	But I admit, I must agree. ^_^ On the other side, though, it would
be argued that Akari would get him out of his dark side, and solve the
problem that way.... Hey, I am able to see both sides. It's in my nature.

I can *see* the other side, I just don't agree with it.  Besides, I'm too
much of a Ryoga/Ukyou fan to see Ryoga ending up with <shudder> *Akari!*

Although if you want to come up with odd matchups, I'm game...

...Ryoga/Kasumi, Ryoga/Natsume, Ryoga/Herb-chan (heh), Ryoga/Raichi,
Ryoga/Ranma-chan (another heh ;), and, the strangest idea I've ever
manifested...

...Ryoga falls in the the Nyanniichuan and marries TAROU! ;)

	Still, let's not let this get into a monstrous debate on the FFML.
I find it refreshing to be able to read mostly stories and ideas here
without having to to cut the spam with a sharpened megaspatula....

Would a debate really be spam if it was debating Ranma?  Spam's like that
huge debate (which I am admittedly a main participant in) on the Ranma ML
about 'ego and unreasonableness.'
